Me and my partner came here for his birthday for a nice chilled off the grid weekend and we was blown away with the level of service from Bridget and Tim absolutely lovely people!, the bed was so so comfy and the shower was amazing! Everything we needed was already there for us to use! And overall our stay was amazing and definitely will be returning.

Everything! This is such a beautiful place the hosts are lovely ! The Welsh cookies was delish and the hut was fantastic! The view and the walks are stunning so much thought has gone into the property and so grateful Bridget & Tim have shared a piece of there beauty !

Lovely secluded location with a small valley, river and woodland at the end of the garden. We spotted plenty of birds from the hut and enjoyed relaxing in the garden. The huts were bigger than expected and everything we needed for our four day relaxing break. Great shower too!

My partner and I had an amazing stay! Being off-grid, in a secluded spot was the perfect way to escape the city. The accommodation is extremely well thought out, with lovely touches and all the amenities you could possibly need. We'd happily return!

Everything. This place is amazing. Its quiet and secluded with stunning surroundings. The facilities provide everything you need including hot water and a gas stove. The no signal and no electricity is a welcomed break and is perfect for the ultimate off grid trip. The compost toilet doesn't smell and is lovely and clean however you do have to walk away from the hut to it, so at night there is even a lantern provided for this. Bridget provided ice blocks each morning for the fridge box which kept everything cool. 10/10 from us and will definitely be staying again. Thank you!

Amazing location, Fantastic scenery, Beautiful Sheppards huts. Great care and detail has been given to create this wonderful holiday destination. 100 out of 100 would definitely go back again.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. Not having signal/internet connection took some adjusting to, but not something I would regard as a problem. I knew when I booked that this would be the case. Not having that technology at your finger tips can be a really good thing!

I had the most enjoyable stay, everything about the accommodation was perfect. Simple, rustic and anything you could possibly need was thoughtfully provided. The location was precisely what I desired, quiet and remote, deep in the Welsh countryside - a proper escape.

The location is amazing! Being out in the open and having no signal or chargers means you reconnect with nature. The views around the area are breathtaking. The bed is really comfy, one of the best night's sleep I've had.

Such a relaxing stay in the Shepards Hut. Bridget and her partner went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our visit. So lovely to switch off from the outside world for a few days. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

Lovely and private huts in a superb location. Everything was very well thought through, the kitchenette was really well equipped, the gas cooker worked really well, shower was amazing after a long day's walk. Plenty of storage space. Bed very comfy. The outside toilet was surprisingly hygienic and smell-free. The small brook gave a lovely background noise to all the different birds in the woods. Hosts were very friendly too!

Haveing to leave too soon

The accommodation of two huts with separate bedroom/lounge and kitchen/dining gives you lots space to fully enjoy your time. Everything you might need for your stay was provided. Stoves and barbeque all prepped and ready to go. The decor of the huts is utterly charming, quirky and stylish. You kind of expect a bit of grime with this type of shabby rustic charm.. but everything is absolutely spotless. There is gas oven and hob. Lights are solar powered. Lovely shower with pipeing hot water, just what you need after walking around the nearby hills and lanes. This is one of the best outdoor spaces we have ever stayed at. It's literally five star accomodation in an outdoor setting. We loved everything about it and will definitely plan a return visit.
