Expensive for what it was. Bathroom layout as a wetroom meant the shower caused the towels, loo roll & loo seat to get wet. Would have been better if the shower was closed off. No kettle in the room.

I have stayed at Bloc hotel afew times but the price goes up and up everytime and its quite disappointing as i think i may not use them again after my last stay. Its convienient but extrortive prices.

No windows or daylight, room very compact but was exactly what we needed. Gave us somewhere comfortable to watch box sets after learning our flight was delayed.

The location. Nobody can grumble about waking up in the terminal!! No shuttle buses.

The price is a bit steep for what it is and the room is cramped for any kind of longer stay Something to understand about the room: the bed is the full width of the room - I believe it's slightly longer than a normal bed length, but it felt a bit like a nest. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a long stay as it may get claustrophobic if you spend much time in the room.

The location was *right* in front of security in the south terminal - if we'd had our boarding passes already, we could have been there in a minute (we flew Norse, so had to check in at the desk instead of online). The bed was very comfortable, both my husband and I were impressed with the mattress and pillows. We primarily stayed here for convenience - we had an 18 hour layover at Gatwick and wanted a comfortable place to sleep. There are smart controls, so you can adjust the blinds/lights/locks from your phone. The hotel emails you the morning of your stay with an access link, so this was very helpful. The bathroom is kind of like a boat, where the shower does not have a door separating it from the sink and toilet area - we had no issues with this, but understand that after you shower, you will not be walking into the bathroom in your socks. The floor had a good nonstick coating, so I wasn't worried about slipping and falling. The rainfall showerhead was good, and there was a handheld shower head as well if you want an extra element of chaos. For a long layover or needing something convenient to LGW, it fit the bill.

Very small room

Super convenient when arriving very late on a flight. Very comfortable bed which was a nice surprise. Plenty of F&B outlets for breakfast. Easy 24hr check in.

The bed was squeezed in it felt. Tea/coffee was outside. The webapp to access the room took 3 restarts before I got lift and room access controls.

The room is very small, I wouldn't want to stay more than a night but I don't know why I would want to stay more than one night in Gatwick airport anyway.

Very small but modern and comfortable room within the airport. Perfect for a pre-flight stay. You can just roll out of bed in the morning and be in the airport with no taxis, shuttles etc. necessary. What a treat.
