Sadly there was no food being served not sure if this has stopped due to being cost effective.

Good location for a memorial we were attending. Room was clean and staff were welcoming. The inn has a back door entrance for guest so you don't have to walk through the bar area.

It looked a little tired when you pulled up outside.

The staff at the property were so friendly and helpful. The lady who checked us in went out of her way to make sure we got into the city on time by getting us bus times and routes into the city. The bus stop is right outside the property. She then gave us some Taxi numbers so we could book a cab back.

No food on site at all, no breakfast provision. It would have been good if we had been warned of this before our arrival.

No real complaints, though while the bed was comfortable I found it a tad noisy - my wife didn't have an issue though, so may just be me being fussy.

Staff were very friendly. Room was clean with a large walk-in shower in the bathroom (Water temp and pressure all good). Mild noise could be heard from the pub downstairs but very quiet after closing time. Ample free parking. Room temperature fine. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room, plus bottles of water were appreciated.

Tables in restaurant were all sticky. Felt like they needed a good clean.

Room was as expected but missing a remote for the TV. When mentioned I was offered a choice of alternative rooms and the lady helped me move my stuff which was a nice touch but should not have been necessary if a pre-arrival room check had been done?

Very sad that there was no breakfast at the establishment. Other than that, all good.

The best part of this experience was the lady whom I had a pleasure of speaking to before our arrival. We were coming after the check-in hours, but she made sure we were able to get in - she explained everything thoroughly so we had no problems with getting into the building and into our room! Big parking (it matters when you have a big van), lovely staff (the queen of customer service ;) ), quiet surroundings, comfortable bed and the location is very convenient. Thank you!

Cleanliness of room when we arrived, but this was soon put right. Poor shower pressure.

Room was lovely, staff very approachable, especially the manager, Denise, who rectified some mistakes on the part of the cleaning company.

A continental breakfast would’ve been nice as the pub recommended place for breakfast was closed and as I didn’t know the area did not have time to drive to another location to find something to eat.

So the bedding sheets were a little rough and suggest they need replacing. There was some noise from the bar downstairs on Sat evening but we expected that. Breakfast is available as an extra however this only seems to be available Fri, Sat and Sun mornings.

So the room and bathroom was spacious. Everything was clean.

Would prefer B&B rate as each drink charged separately making breakfast very expensive! Too many keys as 3 separate doors to get through.

Unfortunately, being a pub and b&b, you end up hearing quite a lot of noise from the music and people from the pub below the rooms. Thankfully the pub closes at 11pm on weekdays, but it's still something to consider. Also there was no breakfast on the Thursday morning (and maybe other week day mornings)

The room was large, well furnished, clean and the bed really really comfortable.

Very comfortable bed, altho a little narrow and the duvet didn't overlap the mattress by much. Very close to my brother's house(whom we were meeting). Wasn't dear.
