Everything was great

I stayed at Breakers with my husband and son. We had a nice room with a great view. There was a kettle, coffee, tea and sugar provided. Also, we had our own sink in the room. Sarah and Matt were very friendly and willing to help if we needed anything. Highly recommended.

Great location facing the sea. Parking is free from 8pm till 9 am in a nearby car park.

Very minor complaint we had is the shower would benefit with a shelf to put toiletries on whilst showering, as it’s quite hard to manoeuvre to pick up toiletries from the floor whilst in the shower. (However wouldn’t put us off staying again)

Location, clean and tidy, hosts were lovely, big fans of Fred.

Stairs bother me a bit, but no biggie.

We loved the feel of the place from the moment we stepped inside. Fred the dog greeted us. The downstairs bar was an unexpected bonus. Matt and Sarah were lovely relaxed hosts happy to enjoy a chat or a drink with us. The sunsets from the front patio were magical. Easy walk to the Red Lion Pub for dinner was convenient. Lots of info an amiable re things to do. All in all we had a great time at Breakers!!

Difficult to park near at a cheap price, however a car park for long stay we used and it was great approaching 5-10 minute walk away. The bathroom is shared so noisy at times when others use it. The towels were lovely but would have been good if changed daily as we had no facilities to hang up to dry properly between use.

Staff were welcoming and its located close enough to Newquay town just a walk away!

very lovely room with bay window and views of the golf course and sea. the sun poured in during the evening. very helpful and friendly host. lovely dog which is no bother and definitely adds to it. I would stay again. handy for walking the SWC

Shower cabin in the room was too small for me.

Walking distance to the beach and central street with shops. Sainsburys and coffee shop very close. Friendly and helpful owner. 👌

Friendliness, cleanliness, deco/interior is nice and modern looking, shower has constant hot water which can be rare in some places, I honestly don’t have a negative word to say about this place.

Very little fault to be found in all honesty. If I were to be INCREDIBLY picky - it would be the motion sensor lights in the hallways would light the room up through the window above the door in the night if anyone else was up and about...but that's us being super picky!

Fantastic location, a short walk from the beach and main strip (we even were able to carry our paddleboards from Breakers to Town Beach - that's how close it was!) We also didn't find parking a challenge at all. The room was comfortable and spacious, had lots of storage space, large TV and our room had a shower which was great. Owners are very friendly and helpful, highly recommend!

I forgot my hairdryer but I suppose thats only myself to blame lol.

Great location. Fred the dog. Caring and easy to talk to owners. Lovely sea view. Clean and comfortable room. Great bathroom. Stylish modern room with good TV too. Coffee and tea for throughout the stay. All in all we would only come back to this hotel when we go to Newquay ,it was spot on!

Nothing really, you get what you pay for.

Was greeted with a warm welcome, property very secure. Close enough to everything with a short 10 min walk to the start of town. Rooms weren’t massive but big enough for a short stay. Beds were comfortable and the hot drink facilities were a bonus. Some seating out at the front which was especially useful considering how difficult it was to get booked into any bars. No designated parking but always managed to find a spot to park for free! I’ve never stayed in a hostel before but this was a pleasant first experience of one!

Was a bit noisy outside as we had the windows open because it was hot but we stayed during the euros 2020 final so what do you expect at a UK seaside town!

Great location. Really friendly staff, very helpful. Free parking on the street is ideal. Board games and Rattler (cider) available for rainy afternoons. Thumbs up from us (2 x mid to late twenty year olds on holiday trying to learn to surf)

The toilet being outside my door was used by lots of guests and very noisy. The owners had friends come and had a good drink which ended in a noisy night and I was kept awake. Guests also laughing and shouting until gone 330 so although a nicely situated and reasonable sized rooms with a bar it did put me off staying again

The bed wasn't very comfortable. We couldn't check in until 4pm and early check out Wasn't the warmest of welcomes after such a late check in.

Good location and price. Can park for free overnight in the carpark opposite and have till 9am or maybe a little longer
