the restaurant was just about ok food was hot and well cooked and presented however there was only around six main courses and on both night items was not available, first night Fish and the second night steak, they also advertise English, Irish, Scottish breakfast well that's not so i have lived in all 3 country's and there was breakfast from those areas, first day no eggs on display however after the waiters and waiter had finished their conversation they did offer scrambled or fried eggs, this is not what it advertises on the booking page. there was ham and cheese on display with breakfast goods however none appealed to me due to the look. because of the hotel location there was a Toby near by so i went for breakfast there on the second day.

it is a value hotel however it could be a great value hotel if they made sure the rooms had been cleaned correctly, floors not hovered surfaces not clean anti bacterial fluid not filled plenty of staff around however there seemed to be nobody in charge directing staff, or checking on the cleaning, really that's what let the public areas and the rooms down, what toped it was all you could smell in the evening was someone on the first floor smoking cannabises.

Stayed five nights and even though towels were changed the bed was never made and one of the cups was chipped and cracked and not changed until I pointed it out to the cleaner 😕

Walls in the room could do with a freshen up, our sink sounded loose if leant on, the step into the bath was a little too high. The adjoining door although locked, the neighbours constantly kept trying to open it. The TV volume stopped at 21 and with noisy neighbours could barely be heard.

The staff were lovely and friendly. The upgrade in the reception area is fab. The location was perfect for what we needed. The beds were comfortable.

The decor of the room was very bland not one picture in site and no spoons.

I liked the size of the room and the fact there was a separation between the hallway door and the room door adding some sound protection and privacy.

An alarm went off in the middle of the night 3 times, I tried to phone reception but the phone was dead. I got dressed and went into the hall to find the man in the room opposite also looking out of his door. He went down to reception to find out that someone had a long shower with door open. Very scary and couldn't get back to sleep

The hairdryer didn't work, nor was the iron provided any good, it just kept releasing water, when dropping back the key staff did not ask about stay or take note of negative comments shared.

The TV channels for free view which are ment to be free don't all work this was a disappointment for my other half as he likes to watch wheler dealers and we couldn't get that channel. The springs on the matress was starting to come through and we kept rolling into the middle during the night. The bath side was too high to climb in. I struggled and I'm of able bodied they need a step on the outside.

The faculty's were amazing and clean, the staff were really helpful. I had a couple of issues but they where delt with quickly. The room was lovely. A bit too warm for our likening. Breakfast was very nice and worth the price. Thank to all the staff we will definitely be back again soon

We didn't have breakfast there . But we needed to change rooms because the bath was too high for me to get into,and they gave us a room for disabled which was a lot lower and better . The staff were very helpful.

The room was a little tired, the bathroom & toilet could do with a refresh. Our room was directly over the front door so we could hear the smokers talking at all hours & we couldn’t have the window open because of the smell coming in.

It’s easy to get to directly off the motorway. The bar offers a variety of food.
