Fantastic place for a getaway. Host was really helpful and friendly and responded to our messages. Cottage was beautiful, lots of really thoughtful touches like fresh milk and eggs from the farm. Very clean, well laid out and a quiet and relaxing place for a getaway. The hens are very friendly too. Highly recommended.

An exceptionally well appointed holiday cottage in beautiful surroundings. Charming Hen Cottage is just that, charming. A large living area, beautifully decorated with a comfortable 2 seater recliner sofa and two easy chairs together with an electric fire meant plenty of room to relax, There is also a lovely large country-style kitchen with everything you need. Arriving for New Year we were greeted with Xmas decorations and lovely touches including Lincolnshire Plum Bread, cheeses, wine and beer. Honestly, our hosts could not have done more to make our stay a welcome one. Set in peaceful surroundings, the grounds of the owners property are there to explore including a medieval church. Lincoln is easily accessible as would be The Wolds and coast. After a hectic run-up to Xmas, the peace, quiet and comfort of Hen Cottage was an ideal location to unwind and relax.

We received a warm welcome from owners, who kindly provided milk, fresh eggs, delicious plum loaf and little hamper. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. We also liked the peaceful location of the grounds, with nice walks nearby and close proximity to Lincoln.

Beautiful scenic location the hosts were very welcoming who met us on arrival. They left welcoming gestures such as a plum loaf which was delicious as well as goodies including cookies, crisps and fresh free range eggs.

the property was clean, comfortable & has everything you could need for a lovely holiday also, the owners had made plum bread & included eggs, milk & some goodies which added a special touch. It was lovely to watch the chickens roam around & we enjoyed having a coffee in the little courtyard.

Counter top cooker not easy to operate.

Fantastic cottage, in a lovely location. Immaculate throughout and very comfortable. Lots of little extras like farm eggs and plum loaf made it special.

The bed size was fine for smaller people but would have been too small for tall people.

The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The cottage was exceptionally clean and well equipped. It is situated in lovely surroundings and is very quiet. Perfect for relaxing.
