Going home. There's nothing to dislike about this hotel

Fabulous stay. We arrived late but this proved to be no issue at all. We were welcomed by the owner and shown our room. Breakfast was great with a good selection. The room was clean with onsuite and bed comfortable. There's a lounge area with a bar that's great to relax in with a glass of wine. Town centre is 15 minutes walk away with many places yo eat.

The location is perfect for a trip to the Isle of Wight, on site parking, a quiet location but most of all, we want to complement the owners for their wonderful hospitality! What you get at The Cliff Hall is a welcome and homely feel. It genuinely felt like we were staying at a friends home. The breakfast is a fantastic buffet where you can chose as much or as little as you want. The room we had was clean and comfortable, more than you need when you’re exploring the island! We could have sat in the garden all evening, enjoying the spectacular view of the sea and immaculate garden foliage! There is clearly a lot of love and attention in this space! Overall, we cannot recommend this wonderful hotel enough, a genuine warm welcome awaits you when you visit The Cliff Hall hotel!

A charming hotel, perfectly located on the Shanklin cliff top with stunning views. The rooms were just right for us and spotless. The friendly owners, Deborah and Brendan, couldn’t have been a lovelier couple, who were always there to help and cooked a scrumptious buffet breakfast.

Thought the bedroom was a little small and could hear the next door resident snoring!!!

A lovely B&B. Plenty of parking on the premises. And we had the table by the window at breakfast with the amazing view.

Brendan & Deborah were excellent hosts, as well as their colleagues. They went above and beyond to adjust our ferry timings. World cup rugby chatter was a bonus with the Guinness. ☹😪 South Africa.

Very welcoming and friendly hosts, from the time of booking Brendon called to confirm everything and gave us good offer on the ferry fare. Arrived at Cliff Hall to the most welcome by Debra. Best sea view and within walking distance to the beach. Very spacious bedroom, more than comfortable and enough beds for all 3 of us. Very good breakfast, same quality and standard every day. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Isle of Wight and because of Brendan and Debra we will definitely be back.

We couldn't find a room for the family of 4. 2 adults and 2 young kids. But maybe this was due to the last minute booking we made. A larger TV than what currently is there would definitely be much appreciated by kids.

The couple who owns the hotel are very nice. They made us feel welcome and also accommodated our request for a little bit late arrival than their usual check-in closing time. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach. The beach is nice and has multiple options for food and kid's entertainment areas.

The breakfast was really tasty, vegetable sausages were very small. Good allergy information available. The toilet seat was really old and looked manky. Room was clean, but outdated facilities. The two owners were really lovely. Younger staff seemed to be confused at breakfast but were still polite. I probably wouldn't stay again because of the toilet seat by but good value & comfortable for a few nights. I didn't like how they came and made the bed, felt that was an invasion of privacy.

No plug socket near bed to charge phone. Light bulbs in side light were icy white. Decor needs updating but the premises was really good value for money.

Very clean. Clean comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Delicious and enormous breakfast. Lovely sea view. Nice shower. Good value.
