The Conval House is an exceptional to stay. The proprietor, Linda' was was a truly lovely lady who was most helpful to me in my visit. She reminded me of the joy in staying at a Bed & Breakfast rather than an impersonal hotel. In addition to first rate accommodations, the breakfast was truly exceptional. First time I ever had cooked cherry tomatoes--delicious. The bottom line is that I couldn't think of anything I didn't like about Conval House. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The location is so picturesque and well worth the visit. Not much to do of an evening although if we were staying longer a taxi into another town would’ve been fine. Linda as our host was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. The balance of attentiveness and allowing one’s own space was second to none. The breakfast was top class and delicious. Oh and the bed was so comfy we didn’t want to get out of it. Same goes for the shower. Powerful and hot. I wish ours was this good!

Dufftown had little choice for restaurants but our meal at the Whisky Capital Inn was good 👍

Everything was extremely tasteful, and sparkling clean. Everything was top quality. Eg The towels were thick and fluffy, the bed linen silky. Our room was beautifully decorated The hostess was very obliging to all of our requests

We were really happy with our stay at Conval House and had no issues. The TV reception is via an indoor HD antenna, so depending on where you're standing in the room, you may get breakup on certain channels. This is really a non-issue, but I have to put down so many words here.

Linda is a fantastic host, the house is beautiful, and it's an easy walk to anywhere in Dufftown (including the Glenfiddich distillery). The room was comfortable and cozy, but not tight. Same for the bathroom. There were also plenty of outlets in the room and a kettle for tea and coffee. It was all very thoughtfully appointed. And Linda prepared a tasty Scottish breakfast with juice and coffee each morning.

Such a beautiful house, with a lovely host who will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable or source items you may need. The breakfast was great. It was a relaxing and quiet spot. Also a very easy walk to anywhere within the town.

I wouldn't change anything.

Our room was lovely and cosy with a large comfortable bed and spotless modern bathroom. There was a tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits tray in the room, which we really appreciated after a long drive. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Linda was a fantastic host and made us feel immediately welcome. We couldn't have asked for more.

Conval House is a gem! The room was very spacious and the pillows and bed were extremely comfortable. Linda was very accommodating, provided great recommendations for eating and how to get around town - she also makes a mean breakfast!

Cant think of anything!

Linda is a sweet, attentive and gracious host. We faced the A9 motorway closure when driving up from glasgow to dufftown , I contacted Linda and she reassured us that she would wait for us and also recommend routes to reach the B&B. We went out to get supper and she offered cutlery and the breakfast hall for us to dine in. The room is spacious and clean and the bathroom is newly renovated. Linda's prepared a lovely breakfast in the morning including eggs, toast, a choice of cereals, yoghurts and fruits. It is a shame that we only spent a night here. Highly recommended.
