No option for addtional bed for 3 people. So we ended up with 2 rooms booking so the price is quite a bit expensive for us.

No noise isolation, could hear every conversation of people passing our windows by, let alone entrance doors to the hotel (we were in room 1). Unreasonably high price for what you get though.

The wifi is a bit slow but it's free and works. Sound travels throughout the guesthouse pretty easily so I would recommend ear plugs for exceptionally light sleepers.

The location and view from the room was incredible (see photo for view from single room No. 5). A short walk to everything in Portree and a nice central location for driving around the island. It was also nice to have free parking so close to the hotel.

- The room was reasonably sized but very clean. What was special about it was the view to the Portree bay, a great view to wake up to in the morning. - The self check-in process was straightforward - The staff happily accommodated our request to leave our car in the parking spot for a few hours after our check-out while we were exploring the village.

The room didn’t have a ‘view’ at all. I suspected as much when I saw the pictures, and am overall not a demanding guest, but I also get how you can be disappointed about the dark room with the only window facing a wall. This could be represented better on the room’s profile here.

The location is perfect for walking to restaurants and shopping and it had parking right across the street, very convenient!

no elevator - so with luggage a bit difficult. We took the 4 room bed for the family - the room is great, maybe a bit small for 4 people with all the luggage - but we really loved the place just the same. Also Wi-Fi was a bit slow.

A central guest house with great views of the bay and beautiful city from room window! quiet, clean, comfortable and very central location. Rooms are cozy and fitting for the general feel of the small beautiful city of Portree.

We never actually met anyone of the staff in person, that is a bit lacking from the experience since Scottish people are lovely. Internet was a bit too slow. Parking may be a bit of a hassle since parking is located on the main road with floating traffic.

If you had large luggage it would be difficult to manoeuvre up stairs to top level, 3 storeys. Also storage in room would be very tight.

Our room had great views and although the room was small it was very comfortable and had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean.
