How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There was very little choice of gluten free food fur breakfast. More seeds, nuts, healthy GF cereals and bread would be appreciated.
I had unexpected mobility issues. At check-in the receptionist was very helpful, allocating a ground floor room, ensuring there was a note of my special needs should ecacua6 be necessary, and reassuring

Perfect location prior to flying from Glasgow airport. Room and ensuite are clean and well finished. Good value for money compared to higher rated hotels we stayed in during the same trip - highly recommended.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the airport when considering you are dragging heavy luggage late at night and there are spots missing footpaths along the road. It’s possible we took a longer route than necessary due to poor signage. A shuttle bus or better signage would improve this experience.
The hotel was nicely maintained, the room was comfy and the bed was very spacious. The staff were very polite and kind when checking us in and explained everything to us very clearly. We didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on that.

The bed could be a bit more comfortable for my taste.
Convenient location about 10 minutes walk from the airport terminal. Standard layout, friendly staff. Makes a nice stopover when arriving late or departing early.

There wasn't any reason for me to suggest anything negative, the whole experience was quite easy, maybe with the modern age as it is they could have a screen share feature so you can watch stuff on the TVs.
I was put in the new part it was a lovely room and very peaceful. The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly. It was great access to the airport just a five minute walk away. They refreshed the shortbread and other room products each day of my 3 night stay.

I was allocated an accessible room - great for extra space but the shower is so low anyone under about about 5ft 8" would struggle - I certainly did. Also whilst suggesting it is close to the airport it is not in reality in easy walking distance if you have any baggage

The fitness center is primarily designed for cardiovascular exercise. Parking can be costly if not reserved in advance.
The hotel provides a comfortable and clean environment with a decent selection of cuisine and courteous staff. The location is ideal for those travelling to the airport.

It's a bit further to walk (maybe 7 or 8 minutes in all) than those closer - but worth it for the hotel itself. Compared to Heathrow the hotels at Glasgow airport are comparatively expensive. But that's just how it is.
The rooms are spacious & well appointed. The staff are always super friendly & cheerful. Very clean all round. Menu & food good too. Ample paid parking right at the door. Is always my first choice hotel when travelling to/from Glasgow.

Due to some misunderstanding I could not get the breakfast I had booked and paid for as it seemed in the system that it was not included. I was not happy about it.
Short walk from the Airport terminal. The room was good and the staff was helpful and nice. I had a small meal the day I arrived and it was good.

The single beds in the twin room and narrow singles. I'm only 5'2 and 60kg and would have enjoyed a slightly bigger bed. Which i have had in less expensive twin rooms.

The parking situation was difficult as there were no spaces when we arrived. We had to drive around for quite a while and wait for someone to leave.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and bed extremely comfortable.
