Alison and Wayne were very welcoming and attentive. The rooms were clean and comfortable with clean towels given each day. Breakfast was sumptuous and set you up for the day. 5 min walk from the town, even for someone with walking issues. Will be going back. If you are considering going to Cragside B&B don't hesitate to book quickly, you may miss out. Soo and Dawn x

Shower not great - we had the heads up about the delay for warm water which was fine however there was very little flow - likely due to the height of the room we had (top floor) and pressure/flow unable to reach via the hot water system. This is possibly only me but i dont think a room needs attending to after night 1 of a 2 night stay - it can feel intrusive and unnecessary (it may just be me i realise) - that is unless there are any issues which i would flag.

Location is good, just a short walk from the centre - literally a few minutes tops. Plenty of parking (free on street) also. Breakfast was excellent - cooked to perfection considering our requests (well done and minus mushrooms). Wayne and Alyson are very attentive. Room was spacious and extremely clean. We received our special request upon arrival which was very much appreciated - Thank You.

there wasn’t anything you couldn’t like about cragside it’s really beautiful

welcoming and spotlessly clean Alison & Wayne are the perfect hosts and would walk away with a Four in The Bed trophy no problem. Breakfast was stunning and a constant flow of tea,coffee and toast was on offer. The bed was so comfy. The house is well located and within easy walking distance into Keswick town centre. parking is fairly easy. we would definitely stay again.

The shower was a bit tricky to use; you had to turn a switch on for hot water. However, the water then was either boiling hot or cool and we couldn't get it to be somewhere in between. Other than that all excellent!

Lovely B&B very close to the town of Keswick. Beautiful, quiet, cosy room. Great English breakfast in the morning, in a beautifully decorated room. All very tasty and excellently cooked. The hosts were nice and accommodating, happy to give us directions and recommendations for places.

Very friendly couple who were happy to accommodate changes in rooms and number of people. They were happy to cater for vegan and gluten free diets.

Room was big and clean. The place was very close to the city centre and plenty of options for food nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of leaflets available with things to do nearby. And breakfast was always fresh and well made and catered to individual needs. Vegetarian option available also.

Stayed for 2 nights with a friend. Very hospitable, friendly hosts, couldn’t do enough for us. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable large room on the top floor. Super king size bed and single bed in the room. It is situated 5 minutes walk to the centre of Keswick. Yummy full English breakfast and choice of cereals, fruit juice and large tea and coffee pots. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

You could not fault the breakfast. There was choice and the hot breakfast was served on a warm plate and was plentiful. The hosts were more attentive. The room and location of the b&b was superb and just what we wanted

Warm and friendly greeting, -made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Rooms very cosy and clean. Location was great just a 5min stroll into the main town. Absolutly will visit again.

The only negative was the lack of hot water through the faucet in the bathroom sink. The hot water switch turned on hot water for the shower but not the sink. That was a very minor negative for a great guesthouse.

The location was amazing-walkable to the River Greta, the downtown, and the Lake. The bed was very comfortable with decent pillows, which are hard to find.
