Maybe a small towel rack next to the bathroom sink for a hand towel would be nice? Otherwise, pretty perfect!

The unit was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and quiet for sleeping, had a fully-equipped kitchen plus an en-suite bathroom complete with bathtub, a lovely view over the loch, clear access instructions, and helpful hosts. We really appreciated the welcome pack the hosts left for us with coffee pods, croissants, crisps, etc. As we stayed a week, it was very helpful to have our own laundry room. We liked the location for its convenience to hiking the Quiraing, The Old Man of Storr, and Fairy Glen, plus restaurants in Portree and Uig. Peter and Marina were always available for anything we needed but left us in privacy to enjoy the space on our own. Really, one of the better places we've stayed in decades of traveling the world.

We had an exceptional stay at Creag Moine, an impeccable, tastefully designed apartment that lacks absolutely nothing, very clean and comfortable with splendid view over Loch Snizort, a porch to have a sundowner on and ponies to watch. Good starting point for trips around the island, especially for going towards Quiraing / Storr etc. Portree with well equipped Coop supermarket only 10 minute drive away. The hosts Mariana and Peter are very nice, handover was quick and easy. For a stay on the Isle of Skye, this is definitely our preferred place!

Creag Moine is like a five stars hotel with all the advantages that an appartment offers: large, brigthy and with a perfectly equipped kitchen for cooking your own meals. It has all the details to make you feel so comfortable: king size bed, towels and bathrobe, toiletry amenities, underfloor heating with a proper temperature in every moment of the day, a Lonely Planet guide of Scotland and some maps for hiking in Skye, milk at the fridge and a big basket with wine, croissants, cookies and porridges. Everything was perfect but we liked the most were the stunning Loch views from the whole house: you only have to seat on the sofa and look over the window to see the sunset (if the clouds allow it... but it's gorgeus also when it's cloudy) Even binoculars to enjoy the landscape! Marina and Peter were so kindness with us, they gave us some plug adapters that we didn't have in our trip. Thanks for all! We'll never forget these wonderful days in Skye in this fantastic place!

Everything! Creag Moine is a wonderful, tastefully decorated house. Very bright and comfortable. But the most beautiful thing is the view of Loch Snizort Beag from the living room or better the terrace. I could have sat here for hours watching the light change over the loch - depending on the time of day or the weather. The house is also well situated for excursions. Peter and his wife are very nice and helpful landlords. Highly recommended accommodation for a pleasant stay on Skye.

Nothing of major importance.

We love chilling at the balcony with sights of the loch and the neighboring horses. Peter and his family were attentive and helpful with suggestion on places to visit, making sure we were comfortable. The chalet is clean and has beautiful surroundings. Even Poppy, their adorable cocker poodle extended her daily warm greeting. We had a memorable and relaxing time. We look forward to our next visit.

The first time arriving to the property was a little bit difficult/confusing because it wasnt clearly on Google Maps. We didn’t know how far up the hill we had to drive but after a few extra minutes of wandering it was totally fine and easy to spot.

The property was beautiful and well stocked, the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do around Skye, and Marina and Peter were so lovely and helpful!

I wish i had packed my slippers as at times my feet were cold...but it was March so that makes sense. Perhaps simple slippers could have been provided. Or not.

The host met us on the driveway that allowed us to know we found the right place in the dark. This was reassuring. And then we had a friendly chat to learn about the rental unit and a bit about the host. Very enjoyable!

Great location with stunning views. The place was very clean, bright, and has everything you need for self-catering The bed was very comfy. The balcony was nice to sit and just take in the views over the loch. The owners were very welcoming and even gave us a knock on the door on the last night to tell us the northern lights were out, which was much appreciated.

Creag Moine is one of the best places we have stayed at. The accommodation is immaculate and the location is brilliant with beautiful views. It’s great value for money and Peter and Marina are tremendous hosts. We can’t praise the place enough. Tha mi an dòchas gum bi sinn air ais!!

A very friendly host who received us with a warm welcome. Wonderful view over the loch, mountains and meadows from the cottage. The place was cosy and tastefully decorated, the sheets and towels smelled of freshness; superior quality bed. Excellent facilities such as laundry room, tea, coffee and washing powder were all present. On arrival a basket full of goodies was waiting for us. One of our favorite stays of all our travels, this chalet featured gorgeous views and Marina and Peter went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. Situated just outside Portree, we enjoyed the idyllic location with perfect views from the large deck and through full length windows. Modern and clean, we googled some of the decor items so we could order for our own home. And perfect hosts with great communication throughout our stay. Looking forward to returning.

Peter and Marina are gracious hosts. The place is very well designed, well built with quality materials, and immaculately clean. The ever changing views over the tidal loch are a wonder, and it is only a short drive to Portree or the fantastic treks on Skye. We have traveled for 6 weeks in Britain, and this is by far our favorite stay. Bravo, well done, and thank you for your hospitality. If we come back to Skye, we will come here. The couple running this establishment were lovely, very attentive and caring for all our holiday needs. Maps in apartment along with loads of other helpful stuff on what to do on the island. the apartment was done to a very high level with a lovely big bed and comfy pillows. highly recommended
