My only gripe would be that, if you are somewhat challenged fitness wise, there is only one ground floor room and no lift. The climb to the third floor attic rooms is a bit of a challenge! Also, the location is at the top of the West Cliff area and (although there is a service bus which runs to town, which can be found just round the corner) walking to and from the harbour/town area could be tough for those who have difficulty in walking distances - especially uphill.

Breakfast was fantastic every morning, The food is freshly cooked to order and the quality was consistent throughout for all of us (a family of five in three rooms). The hosts were friendly and happy to advise on places to eat etc. If you are fit, the location is good, being in the West Cliff area and handy for the beach and other attractions there. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Guaranteed parking outside the front door is fantastic! Would definitely recommend.

I would have preferred a slightly larger shower, it was easier to wash your feet separately than try and bend down, I know they are contemplating trying to make the bathroom bigger at some point because we chatted to them about the Guest House. This would not stop me staying in this room again though.

Room was v large and beds comfy, shower was on the small side but everything was clean. Breakfast was fantastic, bacon was thick cut and v tasty. Eggs we had both scrambled and poached on different days, I wouldn't normally have poached but my husbands looked so good I had to try and they were excellent. Great that it had parking. Owners were lovely, friendly and helpful.

We only stayed for two nights to break up a journey North, but I wish we'd booked a couple of nights more. The family room was comfortable and cosy, the bathroom well appointed with an amazing shower. A nice 10 minute walk from town in a quiet area.

Gwen and Lee are great hosts. The room was large and quite cool considering the heatwave we experienced. Close enough to walk to the town centre for shops and eateries,and only a five minute walk to the cliff top and beach access. Bonus is the off road parking available to guests. Breakfast was very good,with good choice and very well presented.
