We legitimately do not have a single complaint about this place! It was awesome!!

The location was BEAUTIFUL. Having the patio in the back, the view of the Moray Firth, how modern the room was, the amenities, the cleanliness, we were floored at how nice and beautiful the place was! Legitimately way more than we expected!

Dog friendly, very comfortable bed and great space for working and relaxing with some lovely welcoming touches - too cold to use the wood fired hot tub so will go back in the summer

The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but that may just be my opinion.

The bothy was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. It was situated in a lovely quiet location with lovely views of fields. It was also a great place for a base to take in the sights and attractions around Inverness.

excellent little home from home, perfect for a couple and two dogs. Close to Inverness but set in countryside. Owner very helpful and friendly, available but not intrusive. Would definitely return - as only booked for weekend, but would be great for a full week.

Everything was great! The only slight downside was that the hot tub these 4 hours to fill and heat, and we usually like to use the hot tub in the mornings which wasn't possible unless we had stayed up all night stoking the fire! But that's a personal preference, honestly everything was outstanding. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Food was there for us on arrival - loaf of bread, butter, scotch pancakes, orange juice, tea/coffee and milk. Excellent kitchen facilities with hob, oven and microwave.

There was nothing we didn't like! It was perfect.

The perfect little 'home from home' to explore the Scottish Highlands from. It was cosy, spotlessly clean and is much more spacious than it looks on the pictures. The complementary breakfast items left for us was a nice touch. The views from the back garden were lovely. Despite being so close to Inverness and just off the A9 it was so peaceful and serene. The Hot Tub was superb and well worth the bit of effort it takes to get it going. While we never actually met the hosts what more can you ask than being messaged that the lodge is ready for us a full four hours early! Very impressive. There's so many other things I could list but let's just say this place exceeded expectations in every way and we will definitely be back.

this place was perfect. it was a 5 minute drive (if that) into Inverness. everything about the place was fantastic. it was clean, spacious, cute, and nice. it was the best place we stayed in our two week trip to Scotland. I would recommend everyone to stay here. unfortunately we weren’t able to use the hot tub but that would have been an extra bonus. they provided croissants, bread, jam, milk, and butter for breakfast. the hosts were kind and friendly.

We are not small humans, a tad on the hefty side and just felt personally for us a different mattress (not sprung mattress) could have given a more comfortable nights sleep for us, but still slept well...just our personal preferences..other than that everything truly perfect and out of this world!

Amazingly cosy, with everything you could need, incredibly welcoming hosts, truly lovely facilities and absolutely breathtaking watching the stars on christmas night in the incredible hot tub. Brilliantly enclosed for the pups who settled right in. Beautiful facilities and wonderful decor, completely immaculate! Loved the wee xmas tree and everything had a local handmade twist, curtains, cushions, soaps just wonderful! Shower was ace! Every appliance super easy to use, guides with everyrhing we needed to know for our stay! Hot tub was amazing and straight forward. We loved our stay so much we booked again whilst there!!

The bed was comfortable but didn’t real totally secure. The shower was very week and I struggled to wash my hair with the pressure. Ok for a night or 2 but I would have struggled with the bed and shower if I was there for a longer stay. The hot tub is maybe more for summer use as it takes a long time to heat up. We didn’t book for the hot tub so we’re not bothered but if you were planning on using the hot tub a lot it might not meet expectations. Genuinely great stay though, those things didn’t stop us enjoying it. The hosts were lovely. Lots of lovely touches for example leaving us breakfast pastries for the following morning.

The host was fab. We had a great stay. The place was much bigger than we imagined. Perfect for a short stay. Bonus that we could take our dog with us and there’s lots of nice walks in the area.

Not a negative really but if you are planning using hot tub more than once there is an honesty box for the wood/ starters which come at £5 and £2 just to bare in mind to have cash as we didn’t!! Didn’t bother us very much but as it is next to a house there was some noise coming from the garden or rooms of the house, so if you’re in hot tub you may hear voices however it is very private so you can’t see!

Breakfast is left for you! The lovely hosts had the hot tub filled and started heating for us when we arrived!! The whole place is really lovely decorated, clean and modern! The room is far bigger than it looks which was amazing, there are kitchenware etc left for if you are taking drinks or food, there is also I’ve left in the freezer which is brilliant!! The bed is really comfy slightly squeaky but not much at all! There is free Wifi and a TV! Also absolutely stunning views from the hot tub would definitely recommend a dinner outdoors!!
