Parking and rear access is difficult in poor weather. The location of the glass recycling was very disruptive; noisy and detracted from my stay.

Service at times was poor and all the tiers of the wedding cake were cut???? I could not believe it was not cut until 2230 or later leaving guests no time to eat it so virtually the whole cake had to be taken away to consume the next day and the days after etc etc, Jake and Louise were charged for their complimentary room. Basically hotel staff were unprofessional there seemed to be no leadership or co-ordination.

We were kept awake on the first night by faulty heating or hot water pump near our room. But night porter was excellent in finding us another room for the rest of our stay. Generally maintenance of the rooms was poor - e.g. broken tiles in bathroom, shower head that didn't work properly.

Breakfasts, staff very helpful and friendly. Resolved problems without a fuss.

The £10 fee to park in the hotel car park overnight was a surprise. Water wasn’t very warm in the shower - possibly due to demand on the system as the hotel was full. That said, we’d still stay again as it was lovely.

Lack of toilet brush. A table-light on the desk would have been helpful.

Good size bedroom with adjustable heating. The bed was lovely and very comfy. The bathroom was bright with an excellent shower. It was a thoughtful touch to have an iron and ironing board provided. Breakfast was a semi buffet with cooked food if required. We ate in the bar one evening and enjoyed the food and surroundings there. The two lounges were available to sit in and relax.

Location - main entrance opens onto large square - very convenient for centre of KL. Arrived at rear for parking - early birds clearly get easier space options options - managed to shoe horn into one of two remaining spaces - took a little more than a 3 point turn!!!. Public parking available in aforementioned square. Lovely old building with impressive oak staircase. Room - small double - no view :( warm and comfortable. Bathroom - shower - light, airy space with generous towels Dinner - excellent - would go again for the food and the friendly professional warmth of the Maitre D and his staff - a delightful experience. Breakfast too was good.
