What can I say this is my second visit this year I could live in the shepherds hut has everything you need You look out into the field and it’s donkeys paradise The donkeys are so friendly and chilled and I felt so relaxed amongst them Special touch of basket of goodies much appreciated

We loved our stay in the Shepherd's Hut. Ian was so helpful, the hut was snuggly and the donkeys were gorgeous. It rained so wellies are a good idea! We would recommend 👌 x

We liked everything - bring wellies if it has been wet as it is still a farm.

A great stay. Space was well utilisedin the room and it had everything you needed. The little fenced in area where the donkeys would come and see us was lovely. They came over to investigate on both days and on one evening which was lovely.

This was such a lovely surpise! The hut itself has everything you need - even a hot plate, microwave and a lovely gift basket on arrival with essentials and treats. It has a TV and bathroom with shower and toilet. Tastefully decorated and cosy. It has an enclosed space right outside which is sheltered by trees and then an outside viewing area in your own field where the donkeys come to visit. Owner left out their special food and a brush. My daughter loved brushing and feeding them. You can get right in there and give them cuddles. We will definitely be back here - my daughter loved it.

Absolutely loved my stay in the Shepard's hut, being able to walk around and feed the donkeys was so lovely! the hut had everything we needed and the welcome basket was filled with goodies! couldn't be happier with my stay 😁 will definitely be back soon! Great place for animal lovers!

not a bad thing but it was complicated putting the shower on as wasn’t working but overall that didn’t put off my amazing stay here :)

even on a rainy day still such a beautiful place to stay just peace and quiet doctors orders; Carolyn and Ian went above and beyond provided everything and a surprise hamper as well - I will definitely be there again :)

There was nothing we didn't like.

Beautiful presented little shepards hut, super cosy and comfy bed. Really cute decor and the welcome basket was a really lovely touch. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a little nature retreat. & of course we loved spending time with the donkeys, being able to groom and feed them made my day.

The shepherds hut is dwarfed by large trees which make it dark and surrounded by leaves. Could benefit from a better position.

Lovely clean accommodation and nice welcome pack. Everything well thought through regarding the interior.

Nothing - just wonderful.

This was our second visit and what another incredible experience! Stunning - Shepherds hut with lovely comfy and immaculate facilities! Has a TV, cooking hob, microwave, toaster and kettle - every utensil you could ever need! And products. Welcome basket...such lovely personal treats and touches to the whole experience - and the DONKEYS...just wow...what a beautiful bunch...what an amazing and unique experience!!! This place is a gem, highly recommend a visit!

Lovely hosts with an eye for detail. Donkeys on doorstep, and they all enjoyed being brushed and fed with the feed that was provided.

From when we booked and to our departure the hosts were fantastic. Knowledgeable about their donkey's and the area. The hut was beautiful, in a glorious setting and the welcome hamper was so thoughtful, even something for my son, and if we'd had a dog even that was thought about. Loved the donkey's and our nightly chats, even Mr Harold. We will be back and already missing our temporary home. Cannot recommend this place enough!!!!

No wifi although 4G works fine (and you might see this as a benefit anyway) Acommodation quite compact so don't bring the kitchen sink with you!

Had a food hamper provided. Not expecting that. Everything was done out beautifully and the evening was was and peaceful. Disappointed that the donkey's didn't visit but it was exceptionally warm during the day and evening.

The accommodation was amazing, location out of this world and staff beyond helpful. We arrived to a basket of treats, a bucket of food for the very friendly donkeys...a tremendous place, cant recommend enough
