A very lovely cottage in quite a spectacular location. The views from the back of the property over the river were amazing. The cottage was charming and very comfortable.

The house is very nice and perfectly located, with a superbe view on the river. Our privacy and intimacy was respected with no « vis-à-vis ». It’s a wonderful place for a peaceful moment in family and the owner are very nice and comprehensive.

Great property and facilities. Helen was great to communicate with and had everything ready even though we only booked the day prior. Location is fantastic. So peaceful, yet having a decent pub a few steps away and great parking spaces. Really enjoyed the hottub and listening to the river (though glad we weren't sitting in it when lightning struck the chapel very close by!!) Very spacious house with good facilities. Did some great walks up behind the cottage and over to Valle Crucis Abbey. Will definitely be back to do some more walking (and soaking). Thanks again

The living room did not have carpet but saying that it has dogs in, so understand why. Just wish I took slippers.

The lake was amazing as long as you can make it down safe. The out door area had shelter as well as open area and loads of seats on each section. The old look on the property.

Great location next to river. Clean, and a great mixture of tradition of the building and modern comfort. Owner communication prior to stay was very helpful.

The stairs needed handrails down each side. To be perfect for dog, it could have a fence and gate across the edge of the new patio. The tv could be improved with either sky or Netflix. A welcome pack could have been included which always (if included) makes us smile.

The location. The setting with amazing riverside views. The cottage was warm, cosy, peaceful and almost perfect. The beds were very nice with good firm mattresses which I personally like. The added outside area adjacent to the kitchen was wonderful. Great for parking too and close enough to some lovely towns and beauty spots.

We'd have liked more hangers for wet outdoor clothing. (we were kayaking, so we did have quite a lot of this to be fair though|) Wifi connection doesn't give good internet & mobile data signal is weak. But we knew that before we went so not really an issue. Food at The Sun Inn was terrible!

Practical, clean, comfortable, warm. well maintained. Plenty of room for everyone, large dining room and descent size lounge and kitchen. Everything in good working order, although kitchen knives were blunt. Shower excellent. Lounge with Log burner really cosy to spend the evening chatting. Great view from balcony. Location 1 minute walk from Sun Inn Pub. (just re-opened after a refurb) We loved the pub, it's staff and the friendly locals but ...
