The menu was pretty poor by any standard. The chef needs training or replacing. We ate out after the first night of three.

Could do with a little more choice on the evening menu or certainly have what is on the menu. I also do not agree with adding on automaticly a 10% service charge. There was no staff around much at breakfast, so our empty plates were left on the table. We were all settled bill wise, but there was no one to hand the key to and I feel it is good service and manners to have a staff member around to check if you had a good stay etc when you are leaving. No one to be seen.

The room was a comfortable room, a powerful shower. The evening meal was nice, and a good cooked breakfast. Breskfast till 10 am, and check out was 11am, which is very civilised, and not having to rush around on a weekend.

Breakfast - didn’t realise continental served weekdays but made the most of it however no natural yogurt or bananas on second day and not looked after well on 2nd day door wedged shut to kitchen had to knock twice brown bread requested and brought out in hands. Could also do with some small tongs for bread and croissants etc Would like some information on local areas even a small tourist map

Meal not as good as our previous visit. For us the bed and pillows were too soft but that of course is personal preference. Rooms were lovely.

Handy location, lovely village, lovely atmosphere on the Friday night in the pub. Butty Bach very nice.

Lack of a cooked breakfast during the week.

Lovely clean room, comfortable bed and great shower. Breakfast was nice, shame they don't do a full English during the week though. Didn't have an evening meal. Great beer, friendly staff and great value for money, can't ask for much more.

Small pub in a quiet little village, we stayed for one night at the bed and breakfast, the host Emily was very attentive, accommodating and pleasure to deal with. The room we booked had everything we need, clean linen, multiple towels and bathrobes. The room has small window overlooking the village. Bed was very comfortable, multiple pillows and very soft duvet. We had a very pleasant stay at The fox and hounds. Highly recommended for the price we paid.

Room wasn't as clean as it could be with cobwebs in corners. Other than that though it was lovely.

The cleanliness of the bathroom was not brilliant. It was clean but there was mould in the shower area and around the sink but overall the rest of the room was clean.

Friendly Staff and a warm welcome. The room was spacious and the shower was the most powerful shower I have ever had. The room itself was clean and location for my work was perfect.

Beautiful little remote place with friendly staff and an amazing view of the river. So happy that I was able to spend my anniversary with my partner here, would definitely consider coming back.
