Close to centre and station, great bed and pillow, good bathroom

Only problem was obtaining the key from a secure box situated by the entrance door,a text gave you a number to put in to get the magical box to open up & produce the key(s) …..but…..as winter is upon us it was pitch black,with no lighting at all by the door…….carry a torch is my advise to gain entrance…..

the overall cleanliness wasn’t brilliant. there was a used plaster stuck to the bedside table and dust on the headboards. the overwhelming smell of cooking bacon at midnight was a curious thing too!!

the rooms we had were a good size and furnished nicely. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of amenities.

Bed was really uncomfortable, the bath, and toe Ilet where in the middle of the room what made the vantalation straight to the bedroom.

Unfortunately the weather due to the whole country as suffered down pours however that did not stop me from getting out and about to take in the scenery.

Fantastic base for the station,so I went falmouth and torquay for day trips.Also was & convenient for the city centre where I had a stroll around the barbican & the hoe.

Fantastic location close to the train station and all of the tourist attractions etc... are easy to find/walk to. Basic room but that's all I needed for a short solo trip, just somewhere to rest my head on a night. Friendly and informative host. Can't comment on the food as I ate out. Would stay again.

The tv was that small i couldn't see it properly with my glasses on also the kettle needed descaled and lid wouldn't close so was boiling constantly wasting eletic .needs binned,and no iron on our floor i had to go down take that iron and ironboard from floor below then very noisy i hardly slept at all.but because we were out most of the time it was something we persevered with.😊

Me and my daughters room was very homely and comfy.

I have nothing to complain about.

My room was clean and comfortable and included TV and coffee making facilities, also the most comfortable hotel bed I've had in ages. I don't eat breakfast but I saw the breakfast room and talked to our host in the kitchen. Both rooms were well kept. My host was charming and helpful, suggesting places to eat and local areas to visit. The location near the university was also an easy walk to the city centre and main places of interest.

When arrived no one there had to phone to let us in The bathroom was nothing like the images on website, The toilet door and door to bathroom dudnt shut fully

The shower pump in my room (number 8) was making a terribly loud sound, which made my showering experience rather inconvenient.

Everything else was wonderful - the room was exceptionally clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, not to.mention the excellent value for money. The location of the guest house is VERY convenient - it is situated in the heart of the city and is really close to all the amenities and points of interest.

Parking inadequate, had to park 2 thirds off a mile away and walk back bed and breakfast ,when i did get parked behind b and b the space was to small for car

The surprise came when I used the shower. I'm glad that the time when I had chosen to do it was not late at night as the pump of the instant hot water was noisy. Hopefully, it will be replaced soon or else all the other clients may know when the next client that will be accommodated in that room is having a shower.

The location: The property is close to the bus station, close to the city center and train station, 15-18 minutes' walk away. The room was cozy, I had a good sleep, the bed was comfortable, and the temperature of the room was fit to my preferences. The host provided enough information before the arrival, so the self-check-in was smooth. The price was fine.

The shower was a bit slow and not very warm, this might be because we had the attic room, and its a long way up from the ground. Also, the parking is limited to 3 spots, on a first come first served basis, but the spaces are small, and if other guests park a bit selfishly, then you can't get in the end bay. This is not meant as criticism, as the 2nd night we managed quite easily.

The room was a lot bigger than I was expecting, and the beds were really comfortable. On arrival, the staff member was friendly and gave out some good advise on the available facilities close by.
