breakfast choice is limited. it is served in the room, but the fact that there isn’t a real table forces you to have it on bed. the pub is nice, however dinner was not great.

the garddfon inn is the nice B&B of the homonym pub. ok for a couple of nights, position is good to visit Anglesey and Caernarfon. room was quite small, as the bathroom, but clean. parking is available on the street in front of the hotel.

There was no Breakfast menu - only an option to have a continental style tray brought to room. There is a local cafe nearby that I believe opens around 8.30am. No individual thermostat in room so reliant on set temperature & you do have to leave the pub to go into a side entrance for accommodation. Only stairs to rooms - so be aware if you have mobility issues.

Staff were brilliant & we dined in. The food was excellent. They now have a Bingo night on Weds & I believe a Quiz night on Thursdays. A great place to stay if you plan to use the pub facilities but be aware room is directly above pub & quite noisy until closing time. After that it was extremely peaceful. Room was very clean & the beds were comfortable. We would recommend.

Superb Location by the Meani Straits, traditional local pub with comfortable rooms. Bistro only had Sunday lunch available, but this was excellent value for money and very tasty.

I did not find the staff to be particularly welcoming. Not rude but not warm.

Garddfon Inn is conveniently located to Caernarfon and Snowdonia National Park. The Inn is waterfront and very picturesque. Rooms are spacious, clean & comfortable. We stayed on a Saturday night and the pub was very lively - the Inn appears to be an important gathering place for community residents. It had a fun atmosphere.

Poor lighting in the washroom (toilet), a window that wouldn’t open, no A/C, lots of switches but no indication what they controlled (ie. hot water for the shower or control of the heat in the bathroom). Also the Inn lacked a lift making it difficult to access the room.

It’s location next to the sea and in-house restaurant and pup.

The radiator in the bedroom was not on therefore the room was a little cold. We did ask staff but nothing was done/explained.

We did not order the breakfast as we felt it was not good value for money and that we would be making out own tea/coffee in the room to go with it. The room was lovely and the view of the Straights

Only 'slight' disappointment was the breakfast. I hadn't realised it was to be delivered to the door the night before. That was OK but possibly not worth £8? Would have been happier if it had been a bit cheaper but otherwise the stay was very pleasant.

Very comfortable and clean and not noisy considering it was over a pub. The food was lovely and the service delightful and helpful. Lovely views across the strait. Easy to park. Spacious room.

Not a problem for us, but you could hear the outside patrons. Didn't go too late, and it was a bank holiday weekend.

Lovely little pub facing Menai Strait. Large room, excellent bathroom. Comfortable and clean. Great bistro downstairs, and can take your drinks before or after, to a grassed seating area across the road and watch the sunset. Lively pub atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
