Too far out. Definitely need your own vehicle. Taxi was very expensive.

This property exceeding our expectations in every way! The location just outside of Portree was quiet but a 5 minute drive to town. The host generously stocked the kitchen with coffee, tea, bread and jams and also cereals available for breakfast. A wee bit of whisky as a welcome was a nice touch. The grounds are beautiful and the property itself is extremely comfortable and well decorated. We felt very much at home. Easy drive for all the sights we were visiting. Don’t hesitate to book!

Nothing I didn’t like, can only recommend a wipe up cloth for the kitchen (maybe I just didn’t see it?)

Neat, clean self catering although well stocked for a self catering with a full loaf of bread, plenty of butter & various jams, 2 lts of milk, orange juice & breakfast cereals, everything one needs plus more. Each room had a beautiful en suite & a tray with a whiskey decanter & glasses & enough 12 year old Glenfiddich for a snifter each

It is beautiful, truly a hidden ‘Glen’ !! We felt so welcome with fresh bread and milk, every item and placement in the apartment was so thoughtful and easy to use. My family and I particularly enjoyed the morning and evening view from the front door over looking the beautiful garden. I am very particular about cleanliness, and truly it was above and beyond my expectations. I couldn’t be more happier. We were glad to stay for two nights, felt like home away from home.

The apartment was super clean and very tastefully decorated. The location in the countryside was beautiful and easy drive to the town as well as easy access to the beautiful sights the area is known for. The hosts were super friendly and went above and beyond in providing breakfast items and even some tasty single malt scotch.

Small living room with no TV (small TV only in each room) and coffee table. A foldable table provided but not stable to be opened fully for dining or breakfast.

It is very clean and comfortable. Very serene environment with rabbits visiting in the morning with sunrise. Host was generous in providing ample food for breakfast (bread, various cereals, milk, orange juice, bottled water, snacks, variety of tea packs and Nespresso coffee pods).

TV (instead of the mirror?) in the lounge area could be something to consider so the 4 of us could have watched a movie together. Not a huge deal though, we lived our stay

Very modern, comfortable and well appointed place outside of Portree city. Providing a welcome scotch was a lovely surprise.

The living space was quite small for 4 people. The apartment is out of the centre of town so you need to get into the car and drive into Portree for food supplies but this was made clear in the advertising material so we came prepared.

Sandra and Alastair were so friendly. They left lots of breakfast supplies for us. The apartment was equipped with everything that we needed.

The apartment was amazing, everything was maniacally perfect and clean, it was filled by the owner with a lot of things to eat that he offered to us kindly. The bathrooms where like new and also very aesthetic like all the apartment. Two nights only

Luckily we had read about no washcloths so brought our own. That might be my only suggestion is to provide washcloths in the bathrooms.

We loved EVERYTHING about this property! It is beautifully appointed with tons of extras to make your stay more comfortable. From the milk, OJ, bread for toast, butter, jam, coffee, tea, and of course the welcoming dram of whisky, we were extremely happy campers! The place was spotless and very well lit (poor lighting is one of my pet peeves in hotels!). We also loved how cutely it was decorated and the bathrooms were large with fantastic showers. You are only two miles from Portree, so very convenient. If traveling to Skye again, we would stay there again in a heartbeat!!

Have never stayed in a more thoughtfully done up place - whether it’s the aesthetics or the facilities provided. The space screams Skye in the subtlest of ways, whether it’s the local art adorning the walls or the smidge bug spray quietly placed in the cupboards - the attention to detail is better than any hotel I’ve stayed at. The location is excellent too and not very far from the Skye highlights of Storr and Quiraing. The town too, is a stones throw from the property. What’s more - we got a single malt welcome and even had cake, bread, cereal and milk available fresh for us. We arrived late at night and the hosts were super kind to make themselves available in the rain to let us in. They had provided for booklets on Skye and even placed board games in the side board. They even happily brought along their dog the next morning when i requested to meet them. What a stay!! Made it the most memorable time at Skye! Can’t wait to be back

There was nothing I did not like!

Everything!!! Breakfast commodities were all pleasantly provided by hosts to utilise as we wished😁 The wee dram of bedside whisky was enjoyed by all! Unit surroundings included lovely cottage garden , friendly rabbits , beautiful views , easy parking and an easy walking track. The hosts were friendly and welcoming.

We loved the peaceful setting but it’s important to note that it is not walking distance from restaurants or shops. That wasn’t a problem for us, but it might catch some by surprise. Also, guests should plan ahead and make dinner reservations since restaurants were very crowded while we were there.

this is a beautiful, clean property with delightful hosts! The apartment was beautifully decorated and had all amenities that we needed or even expected (loaf of bread, milk, shortbread, 10-yr old scotch and coffee.) Our host even went out if his way to get us a small bucket of ice cubes.

we loved everything about this property and would stay and recommend this place to everyone!

full 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage all to yourself. Our hosts took care of all the littlest details like having bread, milk, orange juice and water in the refrigerator for us, along with butter and jam and treats, coffee, the welcome bourbon… I could go on. the cottage is beautifully decorated and super clean. the showers had great water pressure/hot water. the beds were exceptionally comfortable. the location is roughly 1 mile to portree old town, grocery, shopping and restaurants and 5 miles to Storr. Right out the front door is a short road walk to a trail that runs along the water and cliffs. this trail goes into portree or away from it and connects to the long trails. this was absolutely stunning and I loved it even more than storr! our hosts were lovely people that clearly have a knack for this. we wouldn’t change a thing!
