Warm welcoming hostess, perfectly comfortable home, generous continental breakfast, great value for money, large and clean room, with a very comfortable bed. Its location just outside of Portree makes it easy to get in and out for the day's adventure ahead without dealing with traffic in town.

Beautiful house, breathtaking sceneries and wonderful, kind and hospitable host. Pretty easy to find thanks to numerous road signs. Nice breakfast and lovely room with all you need. Please, keep in mind that there are no cafes or restaurants in the village but both Portree and Skeabost are pretty close so no inconvenience. Plus there is a guest fridge in the house. I would love to stay at this B&B again and again so highly recommend

Nice, silent location, beatiful view from house, good point to explore the island. Tidy room, very good breakfast, helpfull and gentle landlady, excellent price - service value. Recommend to everyone, who just likes to be in special and familiar place.

located in the countryside with the most stunning views, Goldenhill really is the best place to stay when visiting Skye! Located just outside of Portree it is easy to head into town for dinner and is not a far drive to any of the destinations you’d want to go to while visiting the area. Rena is so lovely and her space is so cozy, it is the best place to come back to after a full day of exploring. I really couldn’t recommend staying here enough! Thanks for everything, Rena!

Lovely rural location just a 5 minute drive from Portree. Rena is a most welcoming and friendly host, made me feel at home straight away. Room was spacious and had everything I needed. Very comfy bed and pillows. Good wifi too. Breakfast was simple yet had choices and was tasty. Absolute perfect stay, would go back again in a heartbeat.

Lovely host. Bedroom had pretty views of the surrounding area and was nice and light and cheerful. Nice continental breakfast. We enjoyed sitting outside in the late afternoon in the sun with a nice breeze.

The host was a very lovely lady greeting us and showing us to our rooms. It was also nice to talk with her about some of the history of the land and getting some insights for the trips we undertook.

Great hospitality and warm welcoming. Amazing and refreshing farm field with chance to see highland cow and sheep closely. Can see many stars in the night sky from the room. Air is clear and fresh. The house is free from dust!

amazing location. Only 10-15mins drive to Portree but in a location that feels so remote away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists in Oortree. loved waking up to the farm life around.

The host Rena is unbelievalbe friendly and helpfull and has created such a wounderfull B&B wich is totally perfect if you looking for a peacefull and quite time but not too away from Portree. Great breakfast every morning as perfect start into rhe day.

The only, minor, issue is that the house can be a bit difficult to find and the long driveway up to it is gravel - not a problem for cars but I recommend that motorcyclists leave the bike on the road and walk up.

A lovely B&B. Rena, our host, was very welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Portree is quite close, so handy for shopping and restaurants.

The hostess is very helpful and kind, the location is great (very central near Portree but in the countryside), and the view is stunning (hills, sheep... Perfect Skye view!)
