There wasn't anything I didn't really like. One thing was there was an issue getting the TV in the room to work but it wasn't a huge problem. Maybe if we were there longer it would have been.

The staff at reception and the restaurant were all so friendly and helpful. We didn't have time to stay for breakfast so they packed us a takeaway breakfast and even gave us a little morsel for the dog. Very kind, helpful and thoughtful staff. The hotel was comfortable and cosy, we slept very well.

The solitude, the quiet yet attentive staff, the high end cooking, the fire, the snooker room, the bath and endless hot water, the quality furnishings, the breakfasts, coffee and choice of malts, the conversations with Robert and staff and tips on areas to fish …. it’s grand!

Everything was literally like a dream, the atmosphere, and the breakfast was just exceptional. The staff was very genuinely kind. I hope to return to the house during summer as well.

That our stay wasn’t longer.

We loved everything about this property! Location is far enough away to feel like you’re isolated, but close enough to get to all the of MUST SEE spots on Skye. The staff is on site and extremely helpful, knowledgeable and outstanding cooks. You feel like you are staying with family rather than at a hotel. The loch and the sheep round out the whole experience perfectly. Make sure to look out for the Chinese Peasants! We will absolutely be back.

The track could do with some improvements. Filling in the large holes on the properties driveway would be much appreciated and far easier in a normal car

The Staff, the Room and the ambience couldn’t be better. All fantastic. The breakfast was excellent as well. Sadly we didn’t eat there but the food appeared to be just as good as everything else.

Location is a bit remote and thus there are not a lot of options for lunch/dinner. The hotel does have a restaurant which has great and delicious food but unfortunately do not offer a lot of options and they were a bit pricey. That being said, still a great stay and will definitely recommend it!

Service was great. Location was amazing especially in the morning since it's right by the water. Also, a lot of birds came next to the dining room while having breakfast which made it even more enjoyable. Rooms were amazing and really nice, spacious and comfortable. Really enjoyed playing snooker in the common room.

They could do with some nice beers on tap, Belhaven Best not the best ( excuse the pun), neither is Tennant's lager. Might seem like a minor point but my husband loves a good IPA especially if he's ordering a whisky too and I like a quality lager. Certainly plenty of whisky choice, just need the beer now as the bottle selection available was also limited.

Superb food, super friendly staff. Especially impressed with Val ( think that's her name) the lovely member of staff who is originally from Lithuania. She went above and beyond and coped with very busy mealtimes on her own and always with a smile on her face! If only all hospitality front of house staff in the world were of her standard!

Everything, it’s absolutely charming. Loved the lambs chilling at the main lawn. The room was huge and had a wonderful bathtub, the view was incredible and it had a very quiet and magic atmosphere. The dinner/ breakfast hostess was lovely.

Absolutely no complaints whatsoever!

The staff were wonderful, the food and drinks were incredible (especially breakfast), and the beds were extremely comfortable! The atmosphere was so cozy and relaxing, we spent 2.5 weeks in Scotland in various areas and this was by far our favourite place to stay!

The 2 mile single track approach road with deep pot holes is not great for your 18’’ alloys!

We absolutely loved our time at Greshornish House! Wish it could have been longer. After our world wind trip around Scotland we finally had some time to relax. The food was great, especially loved the beetroot soup 💜
