We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We had a lovely stay. Very accommodating hosts (we could drop off our stuff before check-in for example), a nice and clean room, ample facilities for coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the room, and a very nice breakfast catered to our (vegetarian) wishes.

All of it. The Guest House Gooseberry room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable 🏠 Angie and Rick were lovely hosts, and the breakfast was good. There were 2 hotels with excellent restaurants nearby for evening meals within walking distance. It was an excellent location to get to the coast.

We stayed at Halmer Grange for 2 nights in the Gooseberry Room. Angie and Rick couldn't have been more welcoming, they are so friendly and chatty with some very amusing tales, especially about Chicken the cat! Although our stay was a short one they made it an absolute pleasure to be there. Our room was beautifully decorated with a large super comfy bed, nice views out of all the windows, Halmer Grange is in a great location for exploring Goathland and the North Yorkshire Moors and of course the NYMR!! Angie does the most tasty full English breakfast!! We will be back, hopefully next year!!!! Donna & Gary. Highly recommend 10/10

NorwayTotally relaxing and wonderfull all over. Sharming with a coffee in the morning in the garden. Or meeting the squirrel passing the peacefull and actually touching graveyard. Hearing the bell perfect in these surroundings. 5 min walk to great food just across the road. Close to walks or sights by foot or car. Thank you for a great stay!

This was such a lovely place to stay, and Rick and Angie made it special for my husband's birthday. The room was amazing, so spacious and had everything you would need. The views were lovely too. It was very restful being there. The breakfast was great and there were different options to choose from. Rick and Angie were so helpful, but werent intrusive at all. Lovely hosts.
