We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThere for five nights, until we actually got into bed, did not realise how thin the duvet was. No spare blanket for our use in spite of excellent shelves, drawers, hanging space. 3 coat hangers each only. No mat for slippery shower floor or safety grab handle fitted. Shower Mat requested the first morning which made a world of difference. Also, there for five nights, room was not “ serviced “ daily. Surprised about that for what it cost us.
Did not have their breakfast. Took own porridge pots. Very quiet , buses passed through but not many a day, . Very good walking from pub. .Midhurst, West Dean Gardens and Petersfield all visited. Excellent. Pub itself pleasant.

United KingdomIf you don't have a car definitely book cabs in advance if you need them. It was tricky to get around. Also we booked for two couples and the apartment with a second floor to accommodate four people doesn't actually separate the two rooms with a door, only the stairs...so it's not the best for privacy in that sense. We didn't mind but others might prefer a bit more privacy/separation/noise-proofing between the two double rooms :p We really liked it overall though, great facilities, very clean and comfy and the staff were amazing, super helpful especially when we couldn't get a taxi!
Lovely bathtub, really nice continental breakfast and very friendly, accommodating staff. Would definitely recommend!

United KingdomI (and the staff) couldn't turn down the heating so I ended up having to open windows as the room was too hot. The pub only served Thai food which I enjoy but not every night so I ended up bringing takeaways back from Midhurst.
I loved the location, the size of the room and facilities, lots of quiet dog walks literally from outside the door. The pub was very close to Midhurst and other very pretty villages so eating out was not a problem, just a shame that I would have occasionally eaten in the pub restaurant but it only served Thai food which I enjoy but not every day. Staff were very friendly and helpful I shall definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.

United KingdomCould have had slightly more comfortable seating to watch TV, but understand in a pet friendly room not everyones dogs can be trusted not to get on the soft furnishings.
A clean and spacious room ideal for us and our dog. good atmosphere in the bar with a good selection of beers and wine. Thai food was excellent. Continental breakfast in room is a great idea when done as well as this.

Friendly staff who make you feel welcome The accommodation is modern, clean, comfy, and perfect. Better than most hotels and highly recommended. The Thai restaurant/pub is also modern and cosy with a log fire. Their Thai food is the best I have ever had, and the restaurant is popular with the locals (always a good sign) The location is perfect if you want to get away and relax. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be staying here again. Thanks to all the staff.

United KingdomThe weather but that's not the Hotels fault. The restaurant is not open on a Monday but there are plenty of other eating places within Midhurst and its only a 3 minute drive into town.
For us, the location is excellent being close to Midhurst and with easy reach to Petersfield and the other towns within the South Downs. The facility has a pub and Thai restaurant and the food is excellent. The village the Hotel is situated in is pleasant to walk around in the evening or early morning.
