Think the room was over priced rooms very small and really out dated !

Breakfast was nice and location is very good ! The lady who greeted us was lovely very busy of afternoon / evening family friendly public house !

There was only three spaces to park one side and the other was for electric cars. So had to park in a side street. The rooms are very dated and you can hear the traffic from the main road

The hotel was a short drive to the city centre. Staff very welcoming and helpful.

Several cobwebs hanging from ceiling. Decor a bit tired. Kettle balance precariously on very narrow shelf

Good choice on breakfast menu. Staff were very accommodating. Evening menu could've had a bit more choice but what we did have was good. On a good bus route in to city centre but also walkable.

The road noise is horrendous. Very difficult to sleep unfortunately. Didn't have a bath in the bathroom which you would expect for a luxury suite. Last 2 mornings no tomatoes or haggis available for cooked breakfast as advertised on the menu.

We originally didn’t book for breakfast as we thought we’d end up out and about but decided to go for it, and we’re so glad we did! The “build your breakfast” option was great and meant we didn’t waste anything. It was really well cooked and you could tell everything was freshly made. Also, the staff were lovely, and helpful with directions. It helped when it started raining for our zoo trip and they lent us an umbrella for the day! We had dinner in the restaurant on the first night of our stay and the food was really lovely. Definitely worth the price. The room was delightful, lovely size for two people and kept nice and warm in the winter month. We would definitely stay here again.

There were no rooms on the ground floor. This is not suitable for people with low mobility like myself. But I managed as the steps were of good size and not deep steps which made it easier for me.

Had a fabulous room, very spacious, very comfortable. Property was convenient because it had parking space.

Lovely pub selling good food and cosy bar with lovely atmosphere. The location was great for public transport into the city centre.

Rooms need a makeover. The furniture is a bit shabby and close to falling apart. Not many 3 pin plugs, girlfriend had to use an extension cable we were given ( the wired in kettle didn't work.) to dry her hair in the bathroom as this was the only mirror she could use. Overall it needs a renovation, but if its full of drunken rugby trips on a regular basis I can see why it wouldn't be a top priority.

Parking on site is limited but we were ok. Breakfast is cooked to order and was very good, as was the meal we had on arrival. Great location 5 mins from town by bus (loads of them) over the road from Murrayfield Stadium. Staff friendly and helpful. Good shower. Iron and ironing board provided.
