The property is feeling like a well used rental, with difficult to use balcony doors and general furnishings feeling worn. Unfortunately the bedroom curtains were very thin so would recommend eye masks if you don’t want to be woken at sunrise. Key collection from other side of Eastbourne (15min drive) was an inconvenience. But understand why at this property.

The doors to the balcony are hard work! Clearly not the only people to think so with the marks on the walls. It sleeps 4, but there is only one 2 seater sofa. It defo needs another & there is room for one. The balcony could do with a small table.

Location was fab, property was clear & clean inside. Beds were comfortable & having 2 bathrooms worked well. Kitchen well equipped too with little touches. Plenty of space, we really enjoyed it. Thank you x

The door lacks a handle and is difficult to open and close. Bit of a fire hazard if there is an emergency!

Found keys relatively easy. Luckily we had friends pick us up but would have been a bit of a trek from the station then to the flat.

We could have done with a tea towel and although the apartment was clean it wasn’t pristine. Was a little confusing where we had to pick the key up from as we were looking at flat 21 and the house was number 21 which was around the corner and up the road a little way.

The location was excellent for our needs. Was great having 2 bathrooms and lovely sea view.

Minor points but no tea towels, chopping board or bread knife. Key collection at the opposite end of Eastbourne, but its good that at the end of the stay you can leave the keys in a lock box at the apartment. Completely understand that the way the block is set up they cant put a lock box outside the entrance but it is still an inconvenience worth mentioning.

Fantastic location on the beach with its own car parking space in gated development. A short walk to the facilities at Sovereign Harbour. and a 2-/30 minute bus ride from the centre of Eastbourne with bus stop very close by. Spacious, bright and comfortable, clean and nicely decorated and furnished. Living room and one of the bedrooms overlook the path and beach, just walk out and there you are!

The problem for us was the development and the lack of immediate amenities such as a little shop etc. Eastbourne has really horrible roads. I had done my research, I know Brighton Bexhill,and Hastings and have frequently been to the area but somehow the horrible roads of Eastbourne had escaped me. To make the most of this take everything you need to avold trips to Asda (we did). You also need to be fine with the driving situation.

This apartment was fine. The beach view, martello tower outside was great. To be right on the beach was excellent. It was very good value for money. Oh, and the stairs are not difficult to climb either. Secure parking.

Amazing balcony. However, totally lacking in any kind of patio funniture. Therefore, unable to enjoy alfresco breakfast or evening drinks. Bed linen not the best. Need to pick up keys in central Eastbourne ,so not convenient if travelling by public transport.

Tilt and fold patio/balcony doors weren't the easiest to operate (despite the instructions provided).

Great seaview location. Two ensuite double rooms. Open plan spacious living area and kitchen. Clear instructions for picking up the key and accessing the allocated parking.

Cleanliness was sketchy (hairs found in beds and bathrooms) and better choice of furniture needed - for example balcony chairs, living room side tables etc. Everything looked a bit tired and well used. NO COFFEE or COFFEEMAKER, CAFETIERE. Kitchen cabinet doors were obviously damaged. The doors to the balcony were hard to operate.

Patio doors desperately need attention . Floor was sticky and dirty … my daughter had clean slipper socks on the night we arrived and within a couple of hours the soles was black ….. The curtains and settee in lounge area could do with a bit of a clean / revamp …..

The apartment was a little tired in places but didn't detract from the enjoyment of our stay.

The location was very good with lovely sea views. The apartment exceeded expectations in it's make-up and was very comfortable. It was quiet in the surrounding area but only a short distance from good facilities. The private car park was also very re-assuring.
