I did not know that there would be functions on and the hotel used for other stays such as sheltered accommodation due to trays outside the doors. I did not like that I could hear the person in the room next to me when trying to sleep

No bar, restaurant, pool or sauna facilities available and no reason why this was the case. Reception area is weirdest I have ever seen. Looked like they had a medical area set up when we arrived and later that day the area was full of black bin liners. Asked what they were and was told they were laundry! Not sure what the hotel is being used for but won’t be returning.

Hotel used to house asylum seekers. People smoking weed outside. Staff do not follow up their committed actions. I was charged VAT, I asked for VAT receipt, they would not provide on the spot and said they would email. Nothing was sent to me. They charge a deposit for accidental room damage. On check out you have to wait at reception whilst their security go and check. Pathetic. Room and overall hotel is a little run down.

Location is great, close to airport and a good places to eat.

When the facilities are closed they should advertise that rather then letting people book to message that the facilities are unavailable.

The property was okay. If you ask for late check out expect the staff to knock on your door at least 6 times.

Late shift staff was not 🚫 friendly or helpful at all. It was constantly weed smell in the whole level where we had our room. I won't stay the room was clean especially the bathroom. One of the lamps which was not working properly was some tape on to fix it .

The property has seen better days, it needs some work. Half the lights in our room didn’t work. The fire alarm went off at 3.30am and when we evacuated, we were asked why we evacuated and told “we would have come and told you if it was a real fire”. There was a strong smell of weed on more than one occasion.

The location is in good proximity to somewhere we needed to be. There is plenty of parking. The staff are very polite.

There were no indications of the extent of renovation when I booked - I did receive a notification after booking to say the Spa was closed - but there were no facilities, plastic curtaining up in the main lobby and a lot of areas off limits. The room was definitely in need of some updating, and there was mould and serious water damage on the door and lower extents in the bathroom.

It was a perfunctory location that I was after, in order to collect someone in the early hours from the airport - and it met that need. Beyond that, it was under renovation but still felt rather tatty and outdated. Luckily I was a late arrival and leaving very early, so as a stop over it met my needs.

We had checked in and my partner had gone for work on night shift on return walking to her room she was followed by a member of staff in to the lifts and asked what she was doing when she explained she had room and showed her card which then she was told okay that’s fine very strange
