TV didnt work ( Remote battery?). Shower very tricky to get warm with a decent flow. Kettle needs replacing.

Friendly host and a warm welcome as we checked in. Comfortable lounge area and breakfast room. Good breakfast. Size of bedroom was decent. Very good car park area.

Have stayed here before and enjoyed it. Well run, very friendly with good food and a spacious bedroom. Owner Sue is very helpful and friendly and I can strongly recommend the Highland Moors. The large car park is an added bonus if you are travelling with a trailer.

A lovely building with lots of history, traditionally furnished in keeping with its age. Spacious rooms with long windows overlooking the local hills. Our room was warm, clean and the beds were very comfortable. A modern bathroom, also with plenty of room, and a monsoon-style shower. Sue is a very welcoming, friendly and informative host whose breakfasts and evening meals are delicious.

The only thing which I could suggest that would need a little improvement would be the WIFI my little boy was unable to stream on his tablet but that wasn't to much of a disappointment as we all enjoyed our stay at the Highland moors.

Both of the rooms were very nicely presented the shower areas were large and very clean, my little boy liked the books and the pool table down stairs but really wanted to go to the outdoor play area but the weather wasn't good enough for him to enjoy it maybe next time the breakfast was very nice with a large selection of dishes both the hosts came and spoke to us during the breakfast time and were very nice I will certainly book the Highland moors hotel again on my next visit to Llandrindod wells.

    Nothing..

The quiet ambience of the hotel. One of the most peaceful, quiet hotels I have ever stayed in. Had to cancel first night as I couldn't get there. Train cxd at Llanwrtyd due to flooding. Got there by road with friends next day. Proprietors were so understanding.. Thank you.

It’s tired and in need of modernisation.

The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good and parking easy. It’s also a very dog friendly hotel and an ideal base for Bluith.

Very minor points - another lamp would be nice (Room 2). I would have liked to open the locked window slightly, but it was late when I tried and I didn't want to disturb anyone to help me.

I opted out of breakfast (dietary restrictions) but the choice looked fantastic. The room was very spacious and I loved the large windows. Very comfy bed! On site free parking was great and Sue was very welcoming. Other staff were friendly and helpful too.

The bathroom was small, but functional.

The hotel overall is a quirky, "old school", independent hotel with its own charm. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, the room was clean and comfy enough but, shall we say, traditional. Certainly not modern but not a huge surprise. The bed, though a single, was actually very comfortable. I actually liked the place in a retro sort of way and it served my purpose on a business trip. The owners were great, friendly and approachable. Ample parking.
