Exorbitant charges to use leisure facilities/ spa. No biscuits!!! Horrible little old fashioned plastic milk containers. Poor quality tea bags. Only one chair in the room. Not a great choice in the restaurant and it did smell a bit of old oil. Quite expensive for the level of cuisine. Entrance area bleak.

I would have expected that we would be able to use the pool at the cost of the room. we paid 597 and were told we would have to pay to use the pool and sauna. Not great!

It was a lovely stay for the Easter break, lovely food and the staff were friendly.

Breakfast was below standard expected. Not up to Warners standard! Full English breakfast cold by the time I was back to my table. Egg overcooked and dry.

This visit the cleaning standard was below par. We found food packets behind the curtains from previous guests. The daily “clean” was literally a throw bed sheets back over the bed and empty the bin. The used cups were left and not replaced with clean ones. 3 dirty towels were replaced with only 2 clean ones each day - so we had to chase up another one every morning. Simple things but disappointing as the rest of the stay was good.

Supply of coffee and milk sachets not consistent. After one room service we were left with only one milk and coffee segments not refilled. For only liquid soap to be provided seems a tad mean. Why not solid soap in the bathroom?

That i had to come home!

At first a lot of noise from the room next to me, but this was resolved by moving me to another room, the room what I was moved to was peaceful and perfect, this was all thanks to the service of the lady ( I did not catch her name) but her service to me and helping me with any issues or questions was perfect, the service was top notch and for this reason I would definitely come back and recommended. Good service is a priority so well done to the lady and making my stay more pleasant. Food was excellent and especially the big English breakfast was more than enough, the room was quiet and warm and overlooking the cricket pitch.

Bathroom wasn't cleaned well, old dust and dirt in the shower and on shower screen. No mini bar. You can't access the spa without prior booking. Spa access was fully booked for the morning of our stay. To access the swimming pool you need to pay. First time ever I came across Hilton hotel that charges guests to access a hotel swimming pool. It's understandable to pay for treatments and other extras but pool should be included in the room rate.

Bed was incredible, view was gorgeous, staff were lovely. Bartender made me the best cosmopolitan I've ever had! Bathroom was lovely too. Grounds were stunning!

The only problem I had is considering the hotel is located at a sports venue in the way of a cricket stadium. Non of the bars showed any live sports of any type. I had to go to the other hotel across the roundabout.

No small table in room 139 and no teaspoons. As it was a good sized room it would have been useful to have two occasional chairs as well as the desk chair in the room.

Booking in was very well handed by a young lady and the young man who waited on our table in the restaurant in the evening was also very helpful and pleasant.
