The bed squeaks as you move and the blind opposite the bed does let in the light in the mornings. I would also prefer a sofa that isn't a sofa bed, as we sunk in it a little bit too much. But these are really only minor.

The hosts here are lovely. The location is superb and the cottage itself has nice facilities. Great water pressure and the bed is very comfortable. Beautiful surroundings. Impossible to be cold with the real fireplace. Cottage has a nice ambience too!

Holly Cottage is always welcoming, with fresh flowers and a lovely feel to it, making it very comfortable for a weekend stay. Quickly becomes a 'home from home' which is exactly what we are looking for.

Loved the cottage, very friendly and accommodating host and would definitely stay again. We only stayed one night as we had a family do nearby but will go back and visit again. Very gracious host who made us feel really welcome. Loved the private garden too. Thank you Carol

Everything is so easy, from parking to collecting keys and then the rest of the weekend too, in a very peaceful, scenic location. Comfortable, homely and it never disappoints. Hosts get the balance spot on, being friendly and accessible, but not obtrusive.

Nothing could be better for us. We love our breaks at Holly Cottage. If we did find something, we would only have to mention it and it would be attended to.

Fresh flowers on arrival and new and additional furnishings (as we stay have stayed here previously). The new selection of local magazines provided insights into the surrounding villages' history that we wouldn't be able to understand otherwise and which all add to the charm.

lovely, comfortable cottage, in a quiet location. We found it a great place to stay, within easy reach of walking trails and the most beautiful of Cotswold villages. The cottage has everything you will need for a comfortable stay, and the hosts could not have been more helpful and attentive, thank you for a wonderful stay and a positive entry in our travel Journal.

Location is excellent. You are in the centre of England so you can get to anywhere very easily and quickly (bonus points immediately if you live in the SE!) For us, the countryside around is magnificent and villages are just to the more intriguing side of Cotswold picturesque. Our hosts go out of their way to make the stay a pleasant one, but are never intrusive. You know they are there if you need them, but you rarely do, because they have thought of everything. I cannot give a better recommendation than to say that within an hour of reaching home, we were booking the next stay in August. It is truly worth 10 / 10.

Everything! Location was ideal tucked away in lovely little village with pub 10 mins walk away. We were looking for a cozy cottage for the 2 of us for Christmas and Holly Cottage was perfect. Lovely log burner, excellent kitchen facilities, TV streaming etc. Jackie was amazing from arrival to departure.

This is a lovely cottage, very comfortable and cosy with excellent facilities. Everything we could think of was provided. We stayed with a dog and there was an enclosed garden to let him out as needed. The owner lives close by and was very welcoming and helpful.

One tiny thing which could be an easy fix - the bed was very very creaky, any tiny movement or rolling over woke us both up - I only mention as the host may not be aware, and I’m sure she’ll be keen to know :)

Gaps in outside doors would have been draughty - but summer weather so ok; private patio garden was very scruffy and overgrown and could have been a lovely place to sit - but wasn't.

Very helpful hosts always available next door; all facilities provided; great tv's and streaming; good price for the Cotswolds; short walk to great pub; short drive to Cotswolds towns.

Location is important for us. This is quietly rural with fantastic, scenic walks, but central to anywhere in middle England with easy routes (or even Wales!) The host's welcome is also greatly valued.
