Was quite noisy (could easily hear any noise in the corridor, including opening/closing of doors), a bit dusty/grimy in some places

Friendly staff, nice room, TV, WiFi, comfortable bed, nice shower and toilet en-suite. Plenty of parking good security . Bar and food very good.

Breakfast was mediocre - the toast wasn't buttered. The room was a bit faded, but that didn't worry me too much as it was clean. I found it difficult to regulate the temperature of the shower.

The bed was very comfortable, and the room spacious enough. Parking was easy, and the staff were efficient.

Our room was vey nice but due to hot weather we slept with the windows open and were kept awake with noise from what looked like some sort of fan outside our window. We were in room number one .

It is very comfortable and close to family. We have stayed many times over the years and always found staff helpful and friendly. Good free parking facilities.

Our room was very warm, we were given small fans but these weren't very effective and the window didn't open very far so we couldn't get any air flow. The plumbing was a bit loud and clunky but this may be expected in an old building.

The room was clean, comfortable with nice decor and clean modern en suite bathroom with a great powerful shower. My partner found the bed a bit hard but it was perfect for me. The staff were helpful. The food in the restaurant was great quality, and a great selection for cooked breakfast in the morning.

Bed was rock hard and room was too hot even with a fan. Decor bit dated, but ok. Food portions were small considering you had to pay extra for breakfast. Toast and porridge could have been a bit more generous.

Shower head not working properly due to lack of maintainance. A little noise late at night.

Nice cosy pub with free parking. Rooms are traditionally decorated , relaxing and comfortable.

In our room we had a shower with a hand showerhead and one top shower head. The tap wasn't working properly. the "swich" was just turning around and we couldn't make the top head stop pouring water. Other than that everything was fine.

We stayed for one night as part of a 2 day weekend fishing on the lake nearby. The place has a really nice vibe to it. The room was clean, spacious, and smelled amazing. The bed was comfortable - (on the harder side). We had breakfast included - it's not all you can eat, but they have several options to choose from and they are decent. We had lunch and dinner as well. All the food was amazing.
