Nowhere to go for a walk so better for car owners. Room was extremely hot even though it was not a hot night. Fan provided but quite loud and not effective. Water temp from shower and taps was way too high without any way to adjust. A member of staff told us that she would sort it if we were staying longer!

Beautiful building in pretty surroundings. Staff were helpful mostly. Food was amazing. Spa facilities are great.

The breakfast was quite disappointing. Not freshly made. The sausages seemed to be of poor quality and the bacon was under cooked. The rest of the meals we had (brunch and evening meal) was to a very high standard so this was surprising. The tv in the bedroom didn’t work properly. The general decor felt outdated but it was clean.

Lovely pool and facilities. Bedroom was ok. Staff were excellent - very attentive, friendly, helpful. A true credit to the hotel.

It is obviously very old and definitely needs updating. No AC, room very hot. Furniture chipped and too old. Bedding needs replacing as well.

Pool was good Room was comfy but to warm without air com. The lady at reception was rude, I had to ask all the questions about parking, what time was breakfast, what time the pool was open till, restaurant times. No smile at all on her. Very disappointed with first impressions. If I’m honest I wouldn’t return.

Booked through booking.com for bed and breakfast. Were very surprised that we were then charged £30 for breakfasts but booking.com did a sneaky and quoted with out breakfast. Room was quite hot and no air con.

The room, spa, breakfast were all lovely. 4 of us in the room but tea for three, we asked at reception and got another cup, hot chocolates and biscuits galore. Thank you.

We couldn't get into the restaurant because there were functions going on and we had to have room service which I didn't like so that ruined the experience a little as I wanted a nice meal in the restaurant with my partner as it was my birthday treat from him

Evening meal in Restaurant was very poor. Steak was of low quality and the chips were overcooked & soft as if they had just come from a microwave.

I expected more of a view of valley below, only one vantage point. I stay in executive room, no slippers no robe, no idea how to use safe( no instructions), no do not disturb you sign(missing) , plus bed was not made up properly, no hospital corners🙄

The breakfast was mediocre and not great for vegan options. The spa was fully booked. There is no daily cleaning service unless you stay for a week the receptionist said.

The beds are super comfortable and the facilities are great! Ample parking even when there was a wedding party staying there!

It was convenient on the main road. Perfect for a one night stay to break up a trip. The bar food was very good value for money and very tasty too. Use of the pool for the whole family made it a very restful lay over.

Shower was just a rain shower not that powerful - a hand held would have been nice too. Would have liked plain yoghurt for breakfast and cold meats and cheese would have been good.

Lovely large room. It was quiet in spite of being near a main road. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board in room with usual tea and coffee making facility. Plenty of hanging space. Breakfast was good with cereal fresh fruit and full English. Variety of teas. Evening meal was delicious. Service in the restaurant was great. All the staff were professional and friendly. The spa looked lovely though didn't use.

Getting to the top floor with our cases was difficult as it was stairs only. A little more tea and coffee would have been appreciated in our room.

Room not replenished with tea or coffee as a matter of course. We had to ask for basic things. I.e. slip mat for the shower. Damage to full length mirror. Expensive for the accommodation
