We would have liked to eat at the restaurant, which looked great but was closed during the off-season.

Breakfast was excellent, with a really wide buffet choice. We were in Poole to visit Brownsea Island for my son't birthday, and it was all perfect (except the National Trust ferry was at the other end of the coast - my error).

A lovely clean quiet hotel with friendly staff, large dining area, very good food especially homemade pate and sea bass. Breakfast unusually is service, a pleasant change. Bedroom and bathroom well furnished including fridge with water, much appreciated, particularly the treat, thank you. A pleasant walk to the shore at Sandbank on or off street.

Really minor stuff but, lighting in room does need some improvement (quite dark). Despite a really nice refit the bathroom window didn’t shut properly.

Easy parking and great staff, there was a little hick-up on arrival and the way the staff sorted the very minor problem was second to none. Great room! I can’t recommend staying here more it will be go to Poole hotel from now on. Breakfast was spot on too.

The room lighting requires central light to provide better illumination, the sockets in the bar / dining room incorporating an usb all failed to work.

The room we were allocated would have been better with more lighting, there were no ceiling lights.

The meals at the hotel were excellent, generous portions and very tasty. The hotel location was on a bus route with a speedy service to Poole centre and Bournemouth. The staff were excellent, polite, professional and efficient.

I would say just the room was a little dark and lacking in a main light, so it was difficult to see the room menus/ coffee machine.. and the standard double room was a little compact..

Loved the location, close to Sandbanks and the pub itself was very nice ! With a fantastic, high quality breakfast 👍 Friendly staff too and really loved the bathroom, shower was fabulous with Elemis Spa products... quiet evening and a very good sleep (Monday night)

Carrying suitcase/bags up the narrow stairs to room at the top of the building was difficult. Parking is tight and busy, especially when non staying guests are using the restaurant. Breakfast wasn’t traditional with the usual self serve cereals and toast, it is just fancy smoked salmon etc offered as a single meal.

Very nice hotel, close to beaches and towns. Feature room was lovely with extra facilities for tea and coffee.

Car parking was a bit hit and miss. I was able to park initially on check-in and on returning from a shopping trip, but after visiting friends in the evening I had to park about 300m away on returning at 8pm. Spaces became available later in the evening.

Our room was clean with modern decor and the shower/en suite room was also good. The breakfast and service was exceptional.

Room too small to be termed a 'plus' room. Insufficient and poorly located plug sockets. Toilet was faulty and I had to mend it!
