Large, light and quiet set on a gentle hill side. Lots of lovely touches. You spend your time upstairs in the lounge and kitchen. Need to drive to pub if that’s your thing. The Schoolhouse in Dunvegan is excellent. This is a really good accommodation option in Isle of Skye so book early. Oh yes— start early when driving around as the island gets busy from late morning. The space, the locations the shower, the cress provided by Mark and Ann, the peace, the binoculars and telescopes ope, Mark and Ann, the bed, the heating, the cleanliness,the kitchen, the furnishings. To be honest, this question doesn't quite apply to me, as every moment spent at this place was truly cherished, and we eagerly anticipate the chance to visit again.

I thoroughly enjoy the Lochanside's storytelling album, accompanied by delightful indoor games. For those seeking the tranquility of home coupled with a breathtaking beachside vista, this locale is unparalleled. Once here, the temptation to extend your stay will surely give you pause for thought.

The view from the apartment will blow you away, but the apartment itself is just perfect. We enjoyed having a kitchen we could cook in, and the woodburning fireplace made the living room so cozy to snuggle up and watch the stars or a movie. Plenty to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed hiking the Fairy Pools. The hosts are incredible. Not only did they put their blood, sweat, and tears into renovating their garage into the beautiful apartment that stands today, but they also were communicative, welcoming, and left thoughtful touches that made all the difference. Should we be so lucky to return to Skye, we would LOVE to spend more time at this beautiful stay.

We had a truly memorable stay at this BnB. The location is nothing short of spectacular, boasting breathtaking views of the Loch and the majestic mountain on the other side. A highlight for us was the thoughtful provision of binoculars, allowing us to appreciate the rich wildlife around the loch – from playful bunnies and grazing sheep to a diverse array of seabirds. The hosts' dedication to our comfort was evident in every detail, from the welcoming bottle of milk, varied coffee options, and fresh bread to the touch of a fine whiskey. Additionally, the carefully curated album with information about local attractions was invaluable in making our stay even more enriching. The thought and effort put into ensuring guests have a wonderful experience is truly commendable. Highly recommended!
