If you need the toilet, it is a little run-up to the main house. Ok, in the day, but a little cold in the middle of the night. It's not that we didn't like it, but the only thing I can advise future guests is to start the log burner earlier rather than later. We left it quite late to start the fire, so it took around 2-3 hours to heat the water. By the time it got warm, it was too late to enjoy it. As we were new to it, it was completely our fault.

Our 1st time staying in a Yurt. Close to the beaches. Peaceful. The Yurt was surprisingly warm for the end of February due to its under floor heating. It was clean and comfy. Log burning hot tub is right outside the Yurt. Although it's in a garden on a large plot, it's still private, and it is surrounded by fields. Private kitchen, toilet, and shower in an annexe at the side of the main house. Hosts Louise and Anthony are very helpful and friendly. It was our first time in a log burning hot tub, so Anthony had to assist us with lighting the log burner.

Exactly as described. Very fair pricing for summertime. Despite being adjacent to private property it didn’t feel uncomfortable, and owners texted us in case we needed anything.

This place is magical! The location is amazing, the surrounding nature and walks are breathtaking - seeing what we though might be red kites at breakfast was special! The yurt is really spacious, cosy, easy to live in, and the cooking facilities etc have everything you could need.

The bed was two singles pushed together, Whenever we went to cuddle we had to jump on one side of the single, otherwise one would be stuck in the crack, The wood is provided and was told there is only enough for one warm hot tub, to use again we would need to purchase more wood, felt like we already paid what we needed too for the use! The patio area backs onto a field and you can see over the wall to all the other campers , didnt feel very private! Lots of rules and hidden costs, Felt like it was all about the money rather than making sure we had an enjoyable stay. No eating in the Yurt is also not great, having to walk to the kitchen pass their windows to eat. Didnt find it very relaxing! Will not be visiting again

The yurt layout was really beautiful! Location was great

There isn’t anything we didn’t like, I would suggest maybe a microwave in the kitchen would be handy, but that’s just a personal thing because my partner is on medication that means he eats at strange times so I was having to cook twice rather than him being able to warm up a meal. But i have no negative comments.

The yurt is spacious and light, the hot tub is fun to use. The views around are stunning. The private kitchen and bathroom is a bonus.

YURT STAY: Embarrassing and a Rip off, beware of scams. UNFRIENDLY hosts stand offish and rude unless they saw financial opportunity. Ridiculously EXPENSIVE for what it is, much better yurts everywhere across the UK can't believe I cancelled a nicer yurt holiday to stay at this dump. If you're going to rip us off atleast do it well. Honestly by far the worst place I've stayed at, only reason there is positive reviews is because they are tent pitches and haven't had to deal with the hosts and all their 'rules' which are designed to incur extra hidden charges after you leave, even with us obeying their rulebook which made our holiday miserable and stressful and we took photos of everything when we checked out they still tried to charge us under some obscure pretense. *False advertisement- their 'super double bed' is two ikea single beds put together, their 'private kitchen and shower' is literally in their house and you have to walk 20meters away from the yurt to go infront of their kitchen window to have a shower or eat anything at all because food isn't allowed in the yurt at all apparently - also misleading since advertisement photos have a dinning table in the yurt. * Your 'private' area is basically a waist high wall overlooking the entire group of tent campers so yeah not really private or romantic. *Bugs are everywhere in the kitchen and shower at night- not that I'm not bothered hugely by bugs usually but this did make me feel sick inside the vast amount of wood lice everywhere in the plywood kitchen and shower area. Every night we came they would be there in hoards despite the fact we never left any food out and never really went in there because it was so invasive and far away from the yurt it didn't seem worth it. Overall you'd be better in a youth hostel or travel lodge than staying here. Honestly the only good thing is the location.

    The location and the heating

Check in was absolutely seamless, sited beautifully among the beautiful scenery, The hot tub at night looking up at the stars is amazing!! The private kitchen and bathroom was spotless and full of everything necessary for a great stay. Oven and hob, coffee machine, kettle and a fridge. The process of getting the log fired hot tub was really rewarding knowing that with you tending to it stacking it up with firewood, at the end you will get a beautifully warm comfortable bubbly relax in the peace and quiet. Within walking distance of the train station or a few minutes car journey to a spar, chip shop or a chinese takeaway. 10 minutes up the road you've got the wonderful seaside town of Aberystwyth. The owners were great and were immediately on hand if we needed anything or had any questions. The yurt is so cosy, the bed is so comfortable, underfloor heating is brilliant plus there's wifi if you need it, Outdoor table and seating so you can dine outside or there's dining facilities in the private kitchen. We will definitely come and stay again as it was lush!!

The hot tub takes a long time to heat up so if you are looking to use it make sure you are happy to just sit there, wait & keep filling with logs. The £15 charge for extra logs is quite steep. Also make sure you have no plans for a romantic night as the lights outside get turned off around 10pm & it's pitch black. The facilities are OK but you have to walk through part of a field in the dark, up the drive & round to the back of the owners house. Take a torch. Also you are not allowed to use the hot tub after a certain time, we got told off! The yurt is basically at the bottom of the owners garden. We paid just under £300 for 2 nights, got told off & had to sit in the dark outside after 10pm.

The yurt itself was bright & comfortable although very warm. The bed was super comfy.

Everything about our experience here was 10/10. The yurt itself was beautiful, clean and cosy with a gorgeous outdoor space looking over the Welsh hills. The private kitchen/bathroom area was just as nice and clean. We enjoyed nights playing cards under the fairy lights and relaxing in the hot tub. It was a 15 min walk from Bow street station and a half hour walk to Clarach beach, where you can walk a further 30/40 min along the costal path and find yourself in Aberystwyth, which was perfect as we came on the train. The hosts were so kind and generous and even gifted us some fresh home grown veggies. I would wholly recommend this to anyone interested in a slightly more luxurious camping experience, with hosts that go above and beyond.
