Not easy to find caravan in the dark as no name plate anywhere on caravan stating "Luzern's Heaven. As reported by previous guests, there's still problems with the shower. It doesn't provide hot water. A guy came to fix it but whatever he did made no difference.

Located near to Clacton. 15 minutes bus ride into town. Close to beach. Site complex newish so nice.

Unfortunately, it's definitely a smokers caravan. You can smell it when you walk in, especially being a non-smoker. Most of the radiators leak in the caravan. Some had bowls under already, and I added extra to catch the water. Could do with a good dust/ deep clean.

The fact I didn't have to worry about the gas bottle running out was a brilliant thing for me being winter when I used the caravan. Quite a spacious feel in the bedroom. Parking right outside. Quite a big fridge freezer.

The location was a bit far out to walk into Clacton everyday, there was a good bus service though. Some of the reception staff were quite rude and no help at all.

We enjoyed the swimming pools, arcade and the bar/restaurant.

Nothing about the property was a problem we just didn’t like the site it was situated on or the area in general.

It was clean, tidy and comfortable. All we could ask for really, plenty of crockery items, pots pans etc for self catering. The beds were comfortable too. The host was very quick to respond when we couldn’t work out how to turn on the radiators, she sent someone round within 5 minutes.

Only issue was working the cooker, didn't find the switch till last day! Maybe a sticker would be helpful, but then it didn't cause any issues we still used it no problems.

Lovely caravan, spotlessly clean and everything you could need for a holiday. Owners were fab and were very easy to contact. Very good price.

We stayed in Heron view, and this area wasn't sign posted, if it was we didn't see it! When coming onto the site, I felt that the button you needed to press for barrier to be lifted, was awkward to reach from car!

Upon arrival at the caravan, which we had hired, it needed cleaning as there was cheese down the sofas, an open half eaten chocolate bar, and quite an amount of rubbish under sofas. The crockery and cutlery were dirty, so it had to be washed before using. The first night Saturday, there was no heating or hot water, we contacted reception and they sent a maitainence man who couldn't do anything as it was too late, they stated because it was private they couldn't help . Sunday morning, we returned they again sent out a maintenance man and a gas man who told us there was a missing part but put some pressure in the boiler so we could have hot water. unfortunately, the shower didn't work. This continued daily until Wednesday. The owners called and reported that they were not in the country and they would send someone. Wednesday evening, Laura came out and said she would call the maintenance people they used to see if someone would come out. Aparantly, someone came Thursday. However, the issue didn't go away, and we were berated for going to reception instead of owner direct. There was a flickering light which was taken out and then not replaced and a fridge that froze the food, but we were given a lamp. I had 2 small and a disabled husband with severe epilepsy and there were no clear instructions as to who to contact. There was an apology with flowers and chocolates, however there was no offer of a reduction in price due to the inconvenience, so we will definitely not be booking again. All in all, what should have been a nice Easter break was an accommodation nightmare.

Location was great close to clacton and amenities on site were brilliant. Swimming, 3 different parks, shop, restaurant arcades and activity centre. This was great as had 2 young children. The owners of the caravan need to fix issues before renting out again.

The mobile was a bit dusty in places and could have done with a better clean. There was also no toilet tissue on arrival and the sponge for cleaning the dishes was very dirty.

The mobile was lovely and warm and although we were told to bring bedding with us all the beds were made up. It had a lovely homely feel to it.

The accommodation was very dirty, the kettle had so much limescale it was disgusting and the toaster didn't work. There were only 3 hangers, 2 of which were broken. We were not sent the location or key lock information ahead of our arrival. It said linen was included but there wasn't any. The passes to use the facilities have to be purchased separately.

Although we had many issues upon our arrival, Laura who looks after the caravan for the owners was great. She bought us fresh linen and a brand new kettle and toaster, plus a bag of hangers. Thank you for for sorting everything so quickly.

Jaywick road before you get to martella beach. That you had to buy entertainment passes which was only used for bingo,bingo was rubbish. Amusements needs updating poor. Nothing for disabled children.
