Nothing really , you get what you pay for , so we weren’t expecting the Savoy for the price it was more than acceptable.

Warm and tidy room , breakfast choice was great and the food was lovely and plentiful . Friendly owners .

    the food was amazing.

Room was a bit murky but opened window went for walk around town and room was fine on our return . We did book 1 hour before arrival so maybe no time to air off room .

Lovely location in centre of wick. Excellent staff from check in right through to breakfast . Room was basic but that’s what we needed and was value for the money . The breakfast was a 10 out of 10 .,

    Nothing!

Lovely hotel in Wick & perfect location if you are on the NC500. The room was spotlessly clean & very spacious. Breakfast was yummy 😋 I would also recommend booking into The Bistro at the hotel as the food was delicious.

Our dog friendly room had an constant unusual smell in it, maybe it was a dog deodorizing spray, just a bit off-putting

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff, evening meal & the breakfast where both very nice indeed. Dog friendly right in the middle of Wick.

We felt it just needed soft furnishings in the bar area to entice people to sit in there longer. Wouldn’t take much to refurbish the seating whilst still keeping the character of the hotel.

Staff very friendly, great large room and evening meal was excellent.

The room was a wee bit small, but perhaps only by North American standards. Might have been nice to have a fridge in the room.

Excellent service and food. Murray, Ellie and all their staff were helpful, patient and kind. Mackays is a lovely spot.

Room stifling due to hot weather but we were provided with a couple of fans after requesting a room change. We were offered another room but no lift to that floor. Rude bar staff but fabulous serving staff at dinner.

    Nice breakfast.

No off street parking so was a little worried about the car. Wick is a little rundown so probably wouldn’t have stayed in that town had I known. It sadly overshadowed our stay at this property (appreciate it’s not the hotel’s fault).

Good location in the heart of Wick. Great breakfast and really good quality ingredients

    The mattress

We liked everything about the property. The room was spacious and large bathroom with jetted tub. The food served in the restaurant was one of the best meals we had. The Chef knows his stuff. The staff and service were excellent.

Nothing really, just felt it was 80’s, in a good way, not dated in decor being in need of updating, was recently decorated, just seemed still in the 80s ish.

The room was big and airy, really good in the current heat we are having. Bed was massive
