Clean, comfortable and good location. Close to town, beach, station and buses. My room was a good size and had a lovely sea view. Bed was comfy and en-suite had a bath as well as a shower. Breakfast was decent with a good choice of cereals, pastries, fruit,yogurts etc, The cooked breakfast was fresh but unimaginative with just eggs, bacon sausages and beans. Overall a very enjoyable and restful stay.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast excellent. The location was also ideal for long walks along the beach, and Exeter easy to get to by train.

There were only 4 tea bags and milk for the two of us and the room wasn't serviced even though we left the card asking for it to be on the door handle. But the receptionist gave us more tea bags and mils at least. The parking was a bit of a walk and I wish there'd been more information about it on the website. The receptionist on the day we arrived was a bit short with us but after that all the staff were lovely.

The location was great, walking distance to everything in Exmouth. The room was pleasant and bathroom good with lovely shower gel etc. The breakfast was delicious and the person serving it was very helpful.

Parking can be difficult. Hotel has a few spaces but it’s £12 a night. The toilet in our room did not flush properly and took an age to fill.

The breakfast, although it was not overpriced, the sausages were not good (not sure if there was any meat content or just cardboard), and the orange juice was way too sweet and artificial tasting. The rooms are dated and could do with upgrading, but they are comfortable and clean.

The view was fantastic, the bed was comfy and the staff were very good. A lot of money has been spent on the reception and bar area. The location was excellent, close to restaurants, shops, and the beach.

We Didn't actually stay. I was disappointed with the outcome. My father in law who was coming with us to visit family had an heart attack. On day we were due to book in. I phoned from hospital to cancel on the day of arrival so got no refund. But i was still contacted at 11pm at night to ask where we were! Booking.com said they couldn't refund unless hotel agreed. Hotel refused even though it was exceptional circumstances. I did say we would be coming again to visit family and would be booking with them later in the year. Even if we had only had my father in laws room refunded that would of been something at a distressing time. We were also emailed by hotel following day to ask for a review..Im sure this comes out automatically but it was annoying as all i got from 2 phone calls was you should of phoned day before...day before we will still coming!! Father in law is recovering well. But booking.com can also see we did not stay so why keep asking for reviews.!!!

Breakfast not good value for money at £15. I had to wait for a long time . Coffee was only warm. Chef finally brought my full english breakfast, bacon was good, 2 fried eggs ok, 3 sausages under cooked pink in the middle, no baked beans chef said the beans will come in a pot? I ate the eggs & bacon no beans arrived surely just put the beans on the same plate prior serving. My advise dont pay £15 for the breakfast a lot better breakfast is only a short walk away at Witherspoons Powder Monkey. Overall the Manor breakfast was one of the worst breakfasts I have ever been served.
