Sue & Paul first of all was such lovely people, they kept the property in such good condition was very clean and tidy couldn’t fault anything of the room. Location was superb travel distance to places was spot on. Breakfast was 10/10 delicious would definitely recommend and will therefore come back.

Fantastic breakfast, Full English was delicious, choice of fresh fruits, yoghurts and cereals and dietary needs catered for. Room was comfortable and even had a small fridge. Suzy and Paul were very helpful and gave plenty of information about the area, best places to eat and walks.

The traffic was noisy, especially as we needed the windows open as it was hot.

A truly lovely little B&B with exceptional hosts. Fantastic food and made to feel right at home. Great facilities and a bed you just sink right into. A short walk to Torquay Town centre. A perfect stay for our trip. Thank you so much Suzy and Paul.

Great value for money! Cosy and homely! The hosts suzy and Paul we're amazing from their attention to detail, bubbly personalities and giving ideas on where to visit and eat. Freshly cooked breakfast + continental, excellent variety. Good sized rooms with all the essentials. Cosy and comfortable bed, pillows. Bath robes provided and towels. Freshly baked queen cakes on arrival, tea, coffee, hot chocolates in room. Best of all fresh milk in the mini fridge and water! Car parking. 10 minute walk to the harbour / 20 minute approx to the centre.

We liked everything about Marmalade. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable bed, the room was very high standard. Suzy and Paul's attention to detail really showed and made our stay unforgettable. They are v warm and friendly people and extremely knowledgeable about the area. We'd definitely stay here again.

Nothing. Everything was perfect for our stay

Fantastic stay with Suzy and Paul. They went above and beyond what they needed to do Firstly neither of us drive so arrived by coach. I emailed Suzy to ask for a number of a local taxi company. Instead of giving a number she asked what time we were arriving and said she would pick us up. Paul also dropped us back the day we left Really kind. The room itself was lovely, with a large bathroom. A nice touch was that we had been left 2 cupcakes in our room that were delicious. Breakfast was a varied choice that was ordered the morning before and was amazing. I couldn't pick a favourite everything was fresh hot and perfect. Both Suzy and Paul took time out to chat and their stories were so interesting as was their local knowledge. They told us buses to catch and loads more to help our days out. Just a wonderful stay.

I'm so pleased we booked to stay a few days at Marmalade B&B , the hosts were a fabulous couple called Paul & Suzy who made our stay as comfortable as they could and went above and beyond to help us or get us things for our room etc. We had a lovely, freshly cooked, hot breakfast cooked fresh to order by Suzy, which was delicious. The bedroom was comfortable and had everything in it. Suzy even made little cakes in our room to welcome us, what a lovely touch mmmmm! Thank you! We would definitely recommend you stay here and if were back up that way we will definitely be booking again. Thank you Paul & Suzy , love Lynn & Peter Sells xx

What was really nice was the personal touches suzie a and Paul are really nice couple the room was spotless and they couldn't have done more to help. Susie's breakfast where lovely from the full breakfast to my waffles and the pouched eggs muffin and salmon she organised time so we had a freshly cooked breakfast not like a premier inn where it stands all morning. My husband loved her cups of tea,they fresh fruit ,I could not fault them at all if your wanting a 5 star b&b with a personal touch marmalade b&b is the place to be.Thankyou for our stay Paula and Richard

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like!

The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond with helping my girlfriend as she has special dietary needs. The property was very clean and tidy with well presented rooms and the personal touches really added to the enjoyment of our stay!

A hidden gem. Beautiful b&b in the perfect location. Lovely bedroom, (super comfy bed) with a lovely modern en-suite. We chose full English breakfast which was freshly made and delicious. We parked the car on the drive and walked everywhere or walked just up the road to Torre train station to go further afield. Didn’t need to use the car the whole time we were there. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was great, we were very happy with our stay.

The location was great - an easy 10 minute stroll down to the sea front and Torre Abbey, which was lovely to wander through and play mini golf. Our room was perfect, great size and very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfasts in the morning and Paul & Suzy are so friendly and easy to chat to. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be back!

Firstly the hosts were very welcoming and made you feel like you were visiting old friends. They have a great breakfast selection and the food was delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is very close to town and the sea front, only about 15 minutes walk. We'd like to thank Suzy and Paul for an amazing stay. Would highly recommend.
