A bedside light would have been a plus as I like to read but could only do it with main overhead light on which was obviously not perfect. Something to do with having twin beds I think.

Very comfortable room and bed. Breakfast more than adequate and staff always cheerful and helpful. Lovely log fire in lounge and plenty of hot water!

Close proximity to the town centre but just be aware it is up hill on the way back. Staff exceptionally friendly but not overbearing.Bed comfortable and room spacious and very clean.Nice buffet breakfast

We were not warned that our room was directly above the main bar where there was an incredibly loud function going on. Some guests were shouting and the noise kept me up, which was not ideal as I was travelling for work.

Access to upstairs rooms is via a lovely staircase but there is no lift so there are access issues. The hotel is a very short drive from Truro. It is situated on a long fairly steep hill. A reasonably easy walk down for a fit person . Not a suitable walk for anyone with mobility issues. The hotel is developing as a meeting room venue. It will be important not to overlook the needs of residential guests in favour of work groups

Twin room as requested but not as yet part of the refurbishment going on. Decor was very acceptable. Nice to have a blanket on each bed for extra comfort. Beds clean and comfortable. However although the room was small it was adequate for a couple of nights. En-suite shower room was small but the water was hot and powerful. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Evening pizzas were very good. Continental breakfast was enjoyable and plentiful. Parking was a boon.Loved the modern decor.We were happy enough to extend our stay from one to two nights.

Doors of the rooms rattle as other people move about the hotel and there was no dial to turn the radiator down in my room.

Not much really other than the small bathroom. The window in my room was a roof window and needed a good clean but other than that it was a nice place to stay.

The service was excellent, very helpful and friendly. The room had everything I needed, albeit the bathroom was small and a little old. But the hot water was hot for a change. The breakfast was adequate plenty to help yourself to. Sadly no English breakfast but toast was available. The hotel main area's were decorated very nicely and modern.

To have had a lift to get up to the top floor.

The Hotel was lovely extremely clean and tidy, I had the room right at the top which was comfy but unfortunately without a lift it was difficult to navigate with luggage. The breakfast was nice and the staff were suburb, very friendly and totally helpful.
