Our room was Cheriton and right outside our ground floor window was a large rubbish bin and some building equipment also overlooked by next door building so needed to keep curtains closed. The other side as we came out of room was some sort of equipment fenced off but rather ugly. Also, my partner drinks beer and there was none on tap at the bar so we didn’t bother with a drink at the hotel.

The hotel itself is really nice, tasteful. The room was beautiful and the bed exceptionally comfortable. Spotless particularly the bathroom. There was a safe, iron, hairdryer. Aircon too. Nice bedlinen. Nice breakfast. Good size car park. Just across the road to get to restaurant we were booked in to.

Breakfast was not the usual full buffet and although cooked items could be ordered,overall it didn't quite match the other high standards of the hotel.

Are room was in the Town house across the road. Not a problem; however the room was next to front door which was constantly being opened & closed the noise was loud in our room!! We asked to be moved & luckily there was one room available in the hotel where we were in peace!! Cooked Breakfast was good. The croissants ran out and didn’t get replaced in time for us🙁small problem and didn’t really matter to us.

Friendly staff, especially at front desk. The bar area was great for meeting up with family and friends. We loved the decor and staff were great.

It was a double bed rather than a King size. Disappointed with the cooked breakfasts! Poached eggs were hard!

Loved the room in the main hotel. Very large bathroom with both bath and shower. Large TV in the room and two easy chairs! Enjoyed the fresh coffee offered!

Location and service provided by the staff was a 10/10. Prior to arrival we were informed there was a function at the hotel, which we thought was informative, and it didn’t affect our experience. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, we would return again.

Our room was noisy during the night and early hours of every morning only from the room upstairs. They moved around a lot! Sounded like furniture moving about and we could hear every stomping step. We also didn't have a bed head so we couldn't sit up in bed to watch TV, read a book or just relax. Would have appreciated a bed head. Breakfast service was slow and seemed disorganised whether busy or not. But overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I would just request a different room next time.

Great sized premium room in the hotel building. Cooked breakfast option daily, very comfortable large king bed with good quality linen. Dining rooms were lovely and the bar and lounge areas with big plush leather sofas were a great place to sit and relax before and after dinner. Staff were also really friendly and the lava cake and rose petals left in the room for the special occasion was a lovely touch.

The fact that our room was on the ground floor. When ever anyone walk pass they head a bird eye view inside the room, owing to the fact that there was no net curtains or blinds. The widow is shoulder high from the street, if we wanted any form of previcy it means that we had to closed the curtains.

The room we had ( osprey ) the bed was too soft, we were for ever moving to the middle of the bed. Need to improve on the full cooked breakfast, the kitchen needs to check what’s on the plate before it leaves the kitchen and we wouldn’t have had to ask for the items that was missing.
