We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe most uncomfortable noisy bed. Some sort of heater noise coming from outside the room window. Very noisy from the floor above. Dripping water everytime upstairs went to the loo Some furniture was rough around the edges.
The staff were very welcoming on arrival. They left you to it but made you aware they were there if needed.

United KingdomOnly bad points was the shower wasn’t working properly kept going hot and cold but if you put the cold tap on and left it on it was just right! And other thing is not much parking available so had to park couple of streets down but no real bother!
