There is a private parking space for the cottage but it's a 5-10 minute walk which can be a bit of a nuisance.

The cottage was clean, comfortable, cosy and well equipped in the centre of Bakewell. The decor is very nice and the furniture and appliances are modern. There is a small garden with outdoor furniture if the weather is kind.

Maybe just no grill tray and the oven pans the coating came off on the food when we used them so maybe just need new ones and the fact the smoke alarm right in front of the oven so each time we cooked they went off!

The house is in the perfect place for walking into town. The open top bus tour is a 10-minute walk away. The house itself is like a little tardis, which looks small but definitely has enough room inside. Lovely welcome basket with Bakewell pudding, which my hubby immediately got excited about! The breakfast at the pudding shop was especially lovely. The staff were amazing and friendly. I personally recommend the waffles!

Parking - only one spot included and restricted parking options in town due to market on Saturday and Monday. If more than one vehicle this is tricky to manage over a weekend.

Key collection was straight forward. The cottage was immaculate and in a nice quiet location within walking distance of the town centre. Breakfast was superb as was the service and friendly staff.

Parking - I'm disabled and the parking wasn't close enough to the property. It's probably fine for anyone else.

The property was lovely and cosy with everything you needed for a relaxing, comfortable stay! The welcome basket was a lovely little treat and the breakfast that was provided in the nearby restaurant each day was delicious! The perfect family getaway, so close to everything. No need to move the car once there!

The house is located in the centre of Bakewell and had all the facilities we needed. It was very comfortable and nicely furnished. We had a super weekend here.

Location is fantastic, well equipped with lovely decor and furnishings. The cottage was very clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfasts at the pudding shop were amazing and all the staff were really friendly and kind and nothing was too much trouble. We all had a fantastic and memorable time and we loved it! Beautiful house in a very convenient location, less than 5 minutes' walk to the town centre. Really well-equipped (the kitchen had everything you could ever need!) Cozy, comfortable bedrooms; log burner for the winter, lovely gardens for the summer. The best welcome pack ever! As if that wasn't enough, breakfast is included. Fabulous!

The parking isn't next to the cottage but it wouldn't put us off staying again.

We loved the cottage! It had everything we would need and it was very clean. The beds were comfy and the staff were really helpful. We were so glad that we picked it.

Tap in bathroom very stiff to use. Back door was unlocked but we only noticed on last day.

No parking onsite but allocated space in secure car park off the high street wasn’t difficult to manage. Could pull up outside to drop luggage off.

Excellent location for walking into the town yet in a quiet residential area. Ample space and lovely facilities. Fabulous free breakfast daily at The Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop (with dog allowed inside as courtyard area closed for autumn). Very relaxing trip.
