The only small thing I would say is the internet connection on the main living room tv. After a day of exploring we wanted to chill out to a movie but the connection was cutting out (not the be all and end all as the rest of the property features were great)

Great lay out lovely and very comfortable furnishings. Very well equipped. Lovely country location but only 10 minutes from the beach. Thought the cake and cookies were a lovely touch and they were very much enjoyed.

It was very clean and cosy. High standards of cleaning! There was a shed in the garden that has lots of games to play as well. We all had a great holiday there. The host was amazing and very kind too. I highly recommend this property!

Everything was just perfect

Clean, spacious, and tasteful place. Lovely village and very quiet Dog friendly Conformable beds, enclosed garden so the dog can play outside in a safety area The owners were really helpful. You can indulge yourself with reflexology or massage at the premises ... What more can you wish.. Definitely recommend

It was great, nothing we didn't like!

Spacious and perfect for a mum and 2 kids on an Easter break on the south coast. Very quick drive to the beach. Also, the girls loved that they could watch Barbie after a day of historical sites!

The shower upstairs door positioning was a bit tricky as it was directly behind the bathroom door .Had to make sure that other people knew you were there.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay or lovelier hosts! Simon was so helpful both before and during our stay, offering recommendations and leaving us some lovely welcome treats. He was very communicative and always there to help - including when we had a bit of a medical emergency! We couldn’t have asked for more and would definitely love to come back - hopefully for longer next time! Thank you again!

A bigger coffee cafetiere or a coffee machine would have been preferred.

A personalised welcome letter was a nice touch which gave clear instructions and recommendations for places to visit and eat at, the curry house more than lived up to our expectation!! The super king-size beds were amazingly comfortable. The summer house with board games was a great addition. Tv's supplied in lounge and both bedrooms, with sky TV incl movies and prime. Decorated to a high standard and warm. There was an endless supply of hot water and the towels supplied were plentiful and soft. A welcome basket with delicious treats greeted us and we're thoroughly enjoyed. Great communication from hosts, friendly and very helpful. We left a ring behind, Simon contacted us and sent it in the post which was just shows how wonderfully he takes care of his guests!!! I would definitely stay again!!!

Simon was absolutely outstanding, a place where the hosts and the property match in excellence. The property was beautiful, we took our little dog along with us and was so pleased how the garden was completely secure. The property itself was stunning, and we had absolutely everything we needed. Simon's communication was brilliant, from directions to recommendations. We arrived later then expected but they had the keys in the door ready for us to enter. Overall a great stay and we will be coming back again

Everything was amazing - facilities were excellent and the host Simon could not do anymore to make your stay a pleasurable experience. Centrally located and dog friendly. Only spent 3 nights there but needed more time to visit the area. Great base for a walking holiday.

Upon arrival, Simon greeted us with a warmth that felt like we were reuniting with an old friend. He instantly made us feel at home, providing a grand tour of the lodge and sharing the fascinating history behind its walls. It’s clear that this isn't just a business for Simon; it's a passion. His enthusiasm and love for ORCHARD CROFT and its surroundings are contagious, and it set the tone for our entire stay. The lodge itself is a hidden gem - a blend of rustic charm and modern comforts. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and decorated with an eye for detail. Simon’s knowledge of the local area is unparalleled. From the best eateries to the most picturesque spots, and of courses the top drinking holes. Simon had a recommendation for everything, ensuring we made the most of our stay. But what truly set our experience apart was the personal touches. The drinks, the chats over a cocktail, and the spontaneous tour of the local area. The lodge was nicely decorated. The facilities were excellent. The location was perfect and it was a pity we weren't staying longer to benefit more from all of this. The host was welcoming and could not do enough for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Purely from our personal situation ie: my Mum was in a wheelchair, the steps were an issue. I knew there were steps but they didn't look as steep in the photos, we managed though.

Location great, quiet, accessible to Chichester and the coast. Close to good eating places. Pet friendly. Beautiful conversion, quality fixtures and fittings.
