An amazing pod with a beautiful location!

There could be more hooks on the walls as there is not much space to store the things on the floor.

The place was amazing, calm, set in nature. The pod is tiny but cute. There is possibility to prepare simple food. Bathroom is small but you have all you need.

The only thing I’d say was different compared to our previous visits there were no matts inside the pod to wipe our feet, outside one was very tatty and falling apart, and no dustpan and brush to keep the pod floor clean. Last time there was a small table and a chair inside of the pod

This is our 3rd time at Parc Maerdy we absolutely love the place. We’ve visited at 3 different times, 1st in August 2nd in September it’s our first in spring and considering it’s been a very wet spring the site was well maintained. Lou and Sean were very helpful and answered the phone when we needed help. I love the fact this year bedding was provided and lovely bedding and pillows they were.!! The pond has matured compared to our last visit (2022) and there were geese and a family of Dusky Moorhens with 4 chicks which we had the pleasure of mum and dad coming up to us for food. We book the family unsuite pod and it’s perfect for us. The morning of our departure I booked again for 2 night stay in September 🫶🏻

A small lamp and table would have been really handy in the room so we didn’t just have to keep the big lights on.

Lovely place to go! Different to anywhere we’ve stayed before and for an amazing price! Really helpful staff and let us check out later dude to car issues which helped up out!

Very cute cosy pods, very clean and a beautiful area. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and was very warm inside. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

No kettle so we could have a hot drink. £69 for one night was a bit expensive so more is needed to improve the stay.

Peaceful location. But due to the weather it was in a mud bath. Improvements to the road and parking at the pods would be nice. Bed was comfy and the little bathroom was really good.

Gorgeous stay at Parc Maerdy! The pods were lovely, very clean and toasty warm. The toilet, shower pod and the kitchen pod were all immaculately clean! The beds were comfortable and had bedding supplied, we all had a great nights sleep. We stayed in the family hut and there was more then enough room for the 4 of us. The site is lovely with the pods all overlooking a small lake/pond. We loved sitting by the fire pit, relaxing and watching the ducks, so peaceful! The area around Parc Maerdy is beautiful with lots of gorgeous walks and coastal towns with lovely restaurants. We unfortunately decided to cut our stay short by one night due to predicted storms but we really enjoyed the 2 nights we were there and will definitely return in the summer!

This was my first glamping experience, so I didn't bring some things. The staff provided me with these items although they are not included in the room. I would like to express my gratitude for the warm welcome! "+": warm houses, shower, opportunity to have a barbecue, beautiful location. The only thing missing in the room was hangers for outerwear. This is not a minus, but with a hanger it would be a little more convenient
