We stayed here for four nights. Although the property looks a little old fashioned we had an amazing time. It is a family tun hotel- all the staff are very helpful and friendly. And the craic was great. The hotel is kept very clean and there are well maintained gardens surrounding a heated pool which is very private. The chef is amazing and the food is extremely tasty and you will not feel hungry after dining here. There is a good range of food. It is worth paying extra for a sea view room which has a balcony with a table and chairs. Across the road there is excess to the beach. Outside the hotel there are bus stops on either side of the road with 15minute services in either direction. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Staff were amazing hotel is clean. New towels daily. Towel for the pool toiletries provided. Breakfast plentiful. Gorgeous views of the beach. Bus stop outside.

Shower. Bed valence grubby. Room very hot. Food (but it seemed to suit most of the regular guests ). No front entrance so had to walk to back of hotel to get in and out.

Location, outstanding view, balcony, easy transport links. Friendly, efficient staff. Nice cotton sheets.

We were given a room next to a huge kitchen vent which was noisy and smelly. The second 2 nights we were moved but there was no double bed. Pool needs a repaint.

Traditional hotel in a peaceful location opposite the beach and next to the bus stop. Good food and relaxed atmosphere.

Staff awful not welcoming or friendly at all. Fire alarm went off during the night and it was shambolic. No protocol at all and didn't even want to call fire services to check why it triggered alarm with strong burning smell. Unbelievable and lots of guests still in rooms sleeping.

The hotel is outdated and needs a refurbishment. Some new mattresses and beds are needed. The showers could also be updated to more modern mixing units so that you don’t have to fight your entire shower from getting scolded by hot water.

The location was amazing. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast in the morning was really good! The hotel was clean and tidy.

We booked 6 days for £766.02 and were given a room on the 3rd floor with no lift. We asked to be moved to another room and it was said to be an additional £480. Menu card without prices, final bill confusing. The dining tables we were assigned were very small, although there were larger ones that were supposed to be reserved for others who didn't come for breakfast. The bathroom ventilation in the room only worked when requested, the kettle had to be on the floor and there was only one socket behind the bed.

Fantastic breakfast (only booked as bed and breakfast)with great view overlooking sea, clean, comfy and very friendly staff at hotel. Peaceful, relaxing location. Lovely wee garden and the bus stop is at the bottom of the road with regular bus transport. I was a single guest and had a really good size single room. Would book this hotel again.

While the property is clean, it’s quite dated and the room had quite a noticeable musty smell. There is hardly any noise insulation, so you can hear everything from the room next door and above. While we had a balcony, it was on the ground floor, we were told that the higher floors with the views are kept for the regulars.

Pool area was really nice and Well kept, the pool was also nice and warm. The staff were lovely and welcoming. The breakfast is a waiter service with a large choice. Hotel is opposite the beach and a bus stop, the buses are every 15 mins and offer a great cheap service. There is a pub down the road which serves good food, but apart from that everything is a short bus ride away.

Hotel was very dated with furnishing and style - also smelt very musty. Could go with a major over haul. Games room was advertised but has now gone.

Lack of atmosphere. Very suitable for older age group who like a quiet break. Drinks and meals a little more expensive than other hotels we’ve tried in the area. Staff were excellent even though they worked very hard from dawn till dusk. In my opinion they could do with at least one more staff member. Felt sorry for the staff who had to do shifts restaurant, bar, room service and also take turns at cleaning the rooms at times, they looked a little overtired yet were extremely helpful and pleasant

Very quaint and old fashioned hotel. But service and cleanliness made up for it. Service and staff were excellent and traditional. Location great. Bus stops on both sides right at the door every 15 minutes. Beautiful heated pool in a garden setting
