Fridge freezer was switched off when we arrived so took some time to get cold. Mould in the freezer drawers. Garden overgrown so not usable for the children.

Little caravan park map attached to welcome email should help a bit with finding and advertising all facilities on site. Maybe few cleaning stuff can help us to keep property clean as we received it # washing liquid, # toilet liquid, #all purpose cleaning liquid Hover need service a bit # missing screw, #hoover filter need deep cleaning or change

Location perfect for exploring surrounding mountains area. We spent not enough time to experience all attractions. Definitely need to come back and get some more experience with local areas

The lack of Wi-Fi was a bit of a pain, especially with teenagers, but fortunately we all had plenty of data. Everything else was great. I feel the description on Booking.com should reflect this as it stated Wi-Fi was available.

Great location - the accommodation was very clean and modern, with everything you need. Very quiet, but with enough facilities all in walking distance.

Beautiful property which has been looked after really well. Any query regarding the property was answered very promptly by the landlord over the app. We had a great time. Looking at the previous reviews did help us prepare for the stay.

Perfect location. Weather dependent there’s a lot to do on the doorstep without travelling. Lovely beach within walking distance through the nature reserve, we were the only ones on it at first!

The road leading to the campsite is in desperate need of resurfacing as it’s full of massive potholes. There was no visitor information folder in the caravan about facilities on site/contact details etc. Whilst the caravan was clean, there were small things that could have been improved e.g. we had to wash the cutlery before first use as it had grease/detergent spots on it, and our kids found empty crisp packets, plastic bags and three dirty socks under their beds. The carpet under the beds had clearly not been hoovered. It would also have been nice for there to be soap provided in the toilets and washing up liquid. We appreciated the provision of a washing up sponge and towels/tea towel, but after a long drive it would have been good to be able to wash hands properly with soap after going to the toilet, rather than having to go out to find a supermarket and buy soap.

Beautiful location, well kept site, close to local amenities and attractions. The caravan was generally clean, comfortable and well equipped. The beds and sofas were especially comfy. Nice supply of games and DVDs for kids. Excellent communication from the owner.

Watersports in site were not open during Easter, which was a shame.

Lovely new caravan. Immaculately clean. Quiet situation on site. Enjoyed local nature reserve walks and around the lagoon. Lots of birds in trees at the caravan. The Ski Bar on site was nice with excellent service.

Herdwicks pub was busy and could not book a table and the ski bar looked grubby so had to go into the local village to pick food up to eat in the caravan. So these comments are base on the site not the caravan.

It was a good location as a base for surrounding areas. The caravan was clean and had basic equipment for our stay. Brilliant to have 2 toilets in the caravan!

We weren't impressed by the shore,the beaches are not great and the sea water a bit dirty.

We loved the caravan,which was extremely clean and cosy,well equipped.The communication with the owner-great.The site was very nice,too.It was a good place to stay and in our case ,to travel a bit further to the lake district.

There is nothing that we didnt like

Amazing caravan with plenty of outside space with great garden furniture. Inside is super clean and cosy with everything you need. Hosts are super helpful and very responsive to communication. The site is lovely, we didnt have enough time to check all the facilities out so will definitly return. Thank you for having us 😊

Very well kitted out , very clean, very comfy... and loved the little detail of fresh milk in the fridge to be able to make a brew when we arrived.... above and beyond but oh so appreciated 😁👍
