Beautiful little self-contained unit. Quite private with walking distance to the town of Portree where you find everything you need. Went to Eighteen Twenty both nights to see the same two fellas play the same awesome songs. Had an absolute blast both nights and a comfortable stay in the unit.

It's all good - now't to complain about

The hosts left lots of messages about what to do on arrival. The hut was amply stocked with kitchenware, bedding etc. They even had jams and milk in the fridge.

Extremely hot inside the place (no airco) when we had 20+ degres, would no recommend in full summer as it would get uncomfortable. Would have appreciated an outside table/chairs to enjoy the long evening and cool off :-) but as the place is fully new, maybe it will come!

Warm welcome from the owners! All very new material, clean and very well furnished.

The chalet was very warm which was great. But when we turned off the heating it was still roasting. The wifi wasn’t great either.

Brilliant location, easy to walk into the town. Very central on the island to get to the different places we wanted to go. The chalet was clean and modern and had all the facilities that we needed.

Only small things - could have done with some handsoap in the bathroom and a bit more storage for bags.

Perfect place with well equipped kitchen and cosy bedroom. Had everything we needed and at high quality. Hosts were lovely and nice to meet them too.

New, but very small and super-basic

The room, as well as the kitchen/living space, is quite small with hardly any place to open your suitcases. It is self-catering but we didn't expect that it would not have the basics of shower gel, hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner. It just had a shower gel. The number of towels was just enough. The furnishings were cheap, which was ok as they were new but you can see the quality.

The place is relatively new with ample parking and on a main artery. It's 15 mins walk from the main market if you don't want the hassle of paying for parking in the one main lot they have near the main market. Although we didn't plan to utilize the kitchen in this self-catering unit, it came in handy as finding vegetarian options in restaurants was hard, and without booking, there isn't even one decent place to grab a meal in Portree. We ended up picking ready-to-eat options from the local Spar grocery store, so the microwave was useful.

Felt a bit claustrophobic, bed comfy, but chalet just too small.

it was so small. no room to move in bathroom, no luggage racks and no room to put cases anyway. The heating would not work properly. We were the first to use this chalet and the temperature of heating could not be controlled/adjusted without turning it off.

    new clean colourful
