My room had a window in the attack without a curtain but actually it gave me a nice gentle wake up so I didn’t ask for help.

Location fantastic, very comfy bed, quiet and spotlessly clean. Bathroom spacious and luxurious. Staff very kind and attentive.

Hotel rooms really need a refurb. I had an adjoining room and could hear everything next door like they were in the same room. On arrival they took a £50 deposit for each room!

My only complaint is that there appears to be a design fault with the bathroom sinks. When the tap is running the area around the sink floods. I've stayed in different rooms on two separate occasions and experienced the same problem both times. It would not stop me staying in the hotel again.

I like that the hotel is so near the train station. Very convenient for me. The hotel itself benefits from it's Victorian architecture with a grandiose feel to the exterior, and interiors that are spacious and impressive. Staff are friendly and helpful.

There was a sign on reception that on one side said car parking was free and the other it was £5. We pointed it out and the receptionist said it was "misleading". They charged us £5 anyway!

Paying a deposit of £50 didn't bother us. Telling us it could take 14 days to get a refund is a total joke. This needs to be looked at to get people the deposits back quicker. The deposit was as much as the room.

Bath boasted it could fill within 60 seconds thanks to its super taps , unfortunately it could also empty within 5 minutes due to its less than super plug !

Luck of the draw you might have an adjoining door that's not very soundproof.

Good breakfast, good location Good sized rooms at this hotel and clean bathrooms. Staff nice, bar nice and restaurant doing decent food. I prefer this place to any alternative ina comparable price range in Bradford. A once 'grand hotel' now having a quirky afterlife with it's own charm.

Alot of anti social behaviour, a couple arguing late night and the police came to arrest somebody and escorted them from the hotel in the afternoon.

The staff were lovely accommodating location was in close vicinity to the facilities we wanted to access.

Being forced to pay an additional £50 security deposit on my bank card. I have previously stayed here this year and no such deposit was asked for. I never saw this at the time of booking as it was hidden in the small print and I think it is an outrageous demand on arrival at reception without prior warning. It will make me think twice about staying here again.

Stayed last in 2008 and the hotel is now looking a little tired, the bar was sadly very quiet with no atmosphere…

Although there was a bath showing in the room online, it was only cosmetic. A pity as it would have been nice after 20+ hours flight. But I must add the staff made up for the short fall.

I stayed in room 103 which wasn't as good as the room I stayed in previously. The bathroom has a large window, with only a net curtain at it, which wasn't good as I wanted to shower after it was dark and the room over looks a busy street.

I stayed in room 103, which was nice, but I have stayed in nicer rooms at this hotel. The hotel is very welcoming, clean and feels safe.
